I quit within 24 hours of receiving my starter kit, basically I just ran out of cigs. Granted, I bought one more pack a week later, smoked/bummed them all at the bar that night, then never bought a pack after that, and since then (about a month and half, almost 2) I have smoked a few cigarettes on two occasions.
Stop buying packs, I know it's hard, but that's crucial. Get past the first 3 days with 0 cigs and your craving will significantly decrease. When you're craving one, vape more, just don't buy that pack.
Mind you, I didn't intend on quitting cigs when I got my kit. But after I ran out of cigs, I was just like screw it, I'm not going to the store and buying more cigs. After another day of vaping, I was like wow, I can quit, screw it.
Another thing is, after I only vaped for awhile, I found I don't like the taste of cigs as much anymore, my taste has seemed to change. Old habits die hard, but once you get past the initial lump, it gets easier. As the smokers cough eased, I felt like I could breathe more deeply also, which makes cigs not seem so appealing anymore.
