How do you keep wire spools from unwinding?

Just buy some broccoli.

Whoa, what wire is that?
Broccoli always winds up rotting in my fridge. Those rubber bands ARE great though. They were the preferred weapon for dispatching cane spiders in your house in Hawaii back in the day. Just give one to a 6 year old boy and you rid yourself of both cane spiders and underfoot 6 year old boys.

LOL! Haven’t seen one in a while now, but those suckers always give me the “heeby jeebies”. Big, fast suckers! Always made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and gave me “chicken skin”. :D

Me too. They may be dying out. They were actually harmless. Little tiny fangs that were too small to pierce human skin. They just ate bugs. Kind of like a really horrifying looking giant gecko really.
I remember the summer I was living there Samantha fox had just come out with her skin mag spread and it was big news. She’s an old lady now. Also used to be company’s sold little plastic windshield guards for cars to keep smashed bugs from covering your windshield on long trips. That doesn’t happen any more either.

Climate change scares the hell out of me.

UPDATE: not that anyone cares but I’m thinking Samantha Fox is wrong. Vanessa someone or other. I think. It was long ago. She won miss America and then a porn producer dug out some old photos he hadn’t bothered to run from back when she was a teen and desperate for money.

Actually the midges still swarm in the protected wetlands - somewhat seasonally, I guess. They’re attracted to car lights at night and get smashed against windshields. They are a pain to clean off the windshield because they smear a lot.

This is ironically good to hear. For certain definitions of good I guess.
