I have been using regular Ego 5-click non-USB batteries for a long time and just got my first Ego-C battery with the USB Pass-through. The battery button is white when pressed.

How can I tell if it is charging/charged?

If I use the standard Ego charger that you screw into the end of the battery, the battery button blinks blue a couple times and the charger LED turns red. Perfect.

However, if I charge using a USB cable with one end inserted into the port on the bottom of the battery and the other end inserted into the USB wall-unit that came with my regular EGO batteries:

  • The battery button light doesn't blink
  • The USB cable doesn't have an LED so I have no idea if it is charging.

Advice from someone who uses a similar setup would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!
