how do i open the child proof cap?..

i tried pushing down and twisting, pulling up and twisting, no meter what i try to do, this thing wont open!

Perhaps someone will be able to help you if you post a picture of the bottle cap that you are having trouble with.

You push down and keep turning about half way around, this should open it up. If that doesn't work try a 1/4 turn.

thats a problem.. you see, when i push it down and try to twist it, it makes those KNACK sounds. it doesnt make a sound when trying to pull it, but still doesnt open.

its a FXY juice.

i think so, i apply the same amount of force (and i tried harder) to push it down, and it just wont open. also when i push it down, i cannot twist it to the left.

If all else fails, grab a kid and see if they can open it.

I've had a few like that. I would turn the cap back a bit and then push down, not too forcefully, just enough to engage it. If you just can't get it to open do as recommended and transfer it to another bottle after using pliers on the lid. Hopefully you won't shoot fluid all over yourself in the process.

The only other thing I can think of is try running it under hot water to see if it may loosen the threads up.

well, i finally opened it. wanna know what was the problem?
the bottle's threads were shattered. i guess during shipping, anyway i will probably start buying juice from mt baker vapor. they are cheaper... and i have a feeling i will get they're bottles open easier.
also, it didnt ruin the cap. i can just close it and open it like a top-on cup (no need to twist anything, just pulling it. i managed to do that as i removed the threads from the bottle AND from the cap.

You have to squeeze the outer portion of the cap onto the inner portion for the tabs to catch. Thumb on one side, index finger on the other, pinch and turn.

I would suggest ordering more juice now if that's the only one that you have.
