Mood??? This is not FaceBook and its stupid suggestions for your status, i.e., "How are you feeling?" Also, a tiny grey box under my avatar that looks like it says "NO MOOO" is just wrong. And while I'm thinking about the problems with tiny fonts, what ever happened to serifs? - burnrner.... (and yes, I know how to change the font, but I'm not going to do that for every post I make and other members won't either - maybe the default font should be one with serifs which are easier to read.) And that Supporting Member thing - I don't send contributions anywhere as the same automatic monthly amount. Why can't I be a supporting member if I send a contribution whenever I feel like it, plus support other forum members with my words or PIFs? If someone chooses to be a supporting member because they feel pressured or because of visible recognition to everyone on the forum, that is not a reason to be a supporting member. Constant visible recognition for a nice gesture is actually insulting to a lot of people. If ECF feels it is important to recognize their definition of Supporting Members, just thank them with a coupon code or something and don't force them to "brag." OK, done with rant. Thank you if you read this. :)

Though you were typing, I imagined you standing in front of my with your finger out, jutting it in my direction with each point. Ahhh....I agree and hope that they tweak a few things. So is there a global setting for enlarging this microscopic font?

janet, supporting members pay their dues once a year in the amount of $24.00, no monthly deductions. there are a few perks that come with the subscription. for me it was mostly the increased number of pms i could receive and the larger avi that convinced me to become a supporting member ;)
unfortunately, the larger avi fell by the wayside with the switch to xenforo and admin decided on the mood button as a consolation prize
i could do without the supporting member badge myself but there are lots of folks who feel otherwise

Thanks for the reply. I think I was remembering from years ago that there was a monthly auto contribution option, or I probably just had a brain fart....
