How did e-cigs change your life?

I started smoking a while after I turned 15 when I joined a band with some older friends. I was smoking 2-3 packs a day for over 2 years until I couldn't sing or perform, and the same for the rest of the band. I bought my first e-cig at 17 and for over a year I've been using vapor instead of smoke and it has truly helped my voice and physical abilities! I have smoked approximately 8 packs of cigarettes in the past year, and I got my bandmates to do the same and they all agree they have saved our band's career!

How have e-cigs changed your life?

Hi Rhythym138. Smoked for many years. It did affect my voice, but speaking and singing. Been vaping for 5 weeks (and no stinkys) and some of the benefits are: no more "who sh** in my mouth" taste in the morning...no more stinky clothes...breathing much better...smell and taste improved...hasn't affected my percussion, but can hit 3 or 4 notes higher than I could when I was smoking. Just started playing with a new singer/songwriter who wanted me for percussion and this week he is asking me to sing some harmonies with him as well as hand percussion. Way cool !!

being new, i was embarassed and worried about what my smoker friends would think of me puffing away happily on my new setup but damned if they didnt already want one were simply a rage with jealousy. smoking is not cool anymore. i suppose i started at an amazing time with all of the information cataloged neatly here on ECF and other places. finding a perfect setup isnt easy but all of the info is here.
man does it feel good when you quit and really enjoy your new hobby/conversation piece and all the while happily vaping 20mg nic of the flavor you choose. thanks guys!
