Hive, Tiger, or Alien???

Curious of how much difference there really is in these coil types do they really have specific properties when compared to each other. I remember building my first Clapton and how much of an impact it had, a much cooler,flavorful, and overall more enjoyable vape. But with these more complex builds be it the ones mentioned in the title or others such as staggered fused Clapton etc, is there really that much of a difference or is it mostly or just aesthetics??.

I saw that you can by pre made bits of wire on focalecig of Hive, alien, Tiger, Quad Clapton, Fused Clapton or Mix Twisted. I'll probably end up buying all or most of these however it's before pay day and i have enough change hanging around to buy 1 and im trying to decide which one to buy. It doesn't really matter that much as i will end up getting all of them, more im just curious to hear any input people have about these coil builds themselves or compared to each other.

Be careful buying them. I did what your thinking of doing and I bought about ten different tubes from different manufacturers and most were awful. The fused were almost not useable the alien wasn't even a alien and the others were kinda alright. The only decent ones were the plain ole claptons. Since I was interested in building now I've built all the ones I wanted including fused claptons, staple, caterpillar tracks, and staggered fused claptons along with some other variations. Just do your research and see what they make it out of and try to get a closeup before you buy do you can compare with other known real builds. Out of the hundred plus pieces I have I've used one coil and it was ok but nothing I would buy again.

Hmmmm very interesting. thanks for sharing this information. There are not really any close ups available which is annoying. Lll probably just buy 1 or 2 of them like the Tiger or Alien and see how it works out. If they're .... then so be it.

Of all the types you have built what would you say is your favorite?. I did by some pre made coils from fast tech including, parallel twisted,flat twisted,coiled flat,and twisted. not the most imaginative or exotic designs but they were cheap and thought they would potentially look great with my new Infinite Clt V3 on it's way. so im curious how they will work out. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Yeah no problem I just know some of these Chinese manufactures don't really know what the coils are and how they are supposed to be made. The alien for instance is tricky to build and you need to have a very light touch in a way to wrap it correctly. The way mine is it just looks like a caterpillar track of sorts with just a flat ribbon core. And out of all of the coils I really enjoy the caterpillar track for my cinfull Apple roll and other dessert liquids. The fused Clapton is a good all around coil that is really easy to make. The staggered fused Clapton has been great with my fruit and menthol liquids. I've really noticed that certain coils have there pros and cons and some do well with specific liquids. It's a lot of trial and error and it's fun experimenting with new builds.

So i got my premade coils. Iv only tried the coiled flat and twisted flat so far. the coiled flats are great. extremely cool vape even at 100+ watts and amazing flavor. I only wish i had something with a deep enough juice well that i don't need to re drip every 10 minutes. As for the twisted flat, hahaha, no luck. as soon as i hit the fire bottom they droop and change shape before my eyes over and over. was quite a sight as i had never seen that before. but quite disappointing. However the coiled flats were so amazing im willing to let the twisted flats get away with a fail. interested to try the others at some point.
