As a long time fan and customer with HighbrowVapor, I recently fell in in love with butter rum vapor. I didn't think I would actually order this stuff, until the love at first vape occurred when I ordered this flavor for a family member. Of course, I have three other flavors with me as we speak with other delicious flavors to die for. All I got to say is ever since these guys opened up I can't get enough of them.

Butter Rum.

An ambrosia vapor worthy of being vaped to the heavens above. The best description I can say about this is the exact replica of a real butter rum; smooth, complex flavors tasty flavor of some kind of coco, creaminess, and slightly sweet. It's the right amount of sweet that's not over powering. I can taste the nutmeg as a wonderful signature exhale and as for the vanilla, it's smooth and not heavy.

Creme Brule.

I kind of laughed at the check out center when I was trying to buy this because next to it had two interesting online searches automated by amazon; creme brule massage oil and empty brule cup for baking, lol :p. But anyways, it's a phenomenal flavor best described as a scoop of vanilla ice cream dipped in brown sugar and caramel. Truly a yummy sweet desert for those with a sweet tooth. This literally gave me the munchies to buy sweets last night, lol.

Hazelnut Cream.

Freshly baked hazelnuts and smooth. Slight nut flavor with an delicious strong texture of creme as if it was infused with coffee and coco together. Of course, not to confuse anyone, no coffee here but it kinda reminded me of an expresso hazelnut cream coffee made at home.

Malt.

I had a lot of mixed reactions to this. This flavor is truly a mystery to me. Other times, it tasted like malt barley like a non-alcoholic sweet barley drink with a cream texture, other times straight up malty foam without the sweetness, but more smooth. Has a great throat hit to this one, and I love it.

Awesome, gonna place an order for the first two in your review real soon! I can't seem to stop ordering from Highbrow lately.

How do you think the malt would be with a bit o' vanilla in it?

Thanks for the review! I don't think it's possible to give HB a bad review. :)

If you add vanilla to the malt, I think it would be really interesting since they have two kinds of vanilla; one crushed and one aged, now that'd be a kick. Malt is just so amazing as if you're drinking nothing but barley foam, or oat as his description said, heh. Keep in mind though malt is amazing based on being a complex flavor, semi-sweet (soft and low like a brown sugar so it's not very sweet), and what makes it so unique is based on it's name/description :D

I think the only flavor I ever had that was really hard to accept was the pipe tobacco because it needed steeping. I'm not a big fan of bitter tobacco, but with the amount of time passed, it fits right.

I've been interested in the positive chatter about Highbrow and ordered a few bottles... and haven't tried them yet because I can't get the lids off the bottles. I thought it was just me, but I've asked 5 clients throughout my day to give it a try - only one was able to wrench it off. (Yes, I know - squeeze band and turn - but it really seems to take some finger power). AND, the bottles are unsqueezable glass and have no dropper-lids - you actually have to shake them to get a drop out! I've ordered a gazillion juices from divers vendors and never encountered such a thing. I'm still optimistic about the juice, but won't fool with it until I've ordered myself some empty bottles that are actually suitable for ecig use. If I'm not the only one, Highbrow needs to notice this. (If I am the only one then I'll slink back under my rock.)

aubergine, I had issues with the caps but I thought it was because I had just taken them out of the mailbox and it was -45 degrees at the time. lol. I found actually pushing the cap down while turning got them off for me. After I opened them once I didn't have this issue again (hence why I thought it was the cold). My bottles aren't glass but they aren't easy to squeeze, I've mentioned this to them!

1. First let me happily announce that once you make your way to the stuff (I just finally pried the dropper off and poured it straight and slow, too lazy to wash out old bottles at dawn), it does seem worth the struggle. I have a beloved favorite vendor to whom I'm very loyal after much journeying around (the wonderful KBV, who's still to be beaten IMHO), and I've been disappointed with other well-reviewed juices whenever I've strayed. But based on the two flavors sampled this morning (w/o steeping), this is a worthy mixer.
The Heavenly Macaroon is really tasty and interesting, with a good layered balance between the almond, coconut and chocolate - they're all distinct, clean and yummy. I like the Vanilla Bourbon bean, too. Good, clean, rich vanilla, and not a hint of perfume, chemical or other irrelevant undertaste. Note - this is not a boozy bourbon juice, which I expected; I didn't realize that Bourbon is a sort of vanilla bean, doh. But this is not a boring juice, and I'm thinking it'd mix well, too.
I don't think reviews of plume are very important any more as the good vendors now allow a choice in PG - VG, which makes all the difference, and I don't care much about throat hit, but all's very well in those departments. All about taste for me, and these are very nice in that department.

2. Cynder, I'm now able to get the caps off, tho it's a little fiddly. The first time is much the hardest as there's an airtight seal. I see that they are a hard plastic, not glass. They drip much too slowly, IMHO - I'm using mega dual coil cartos that hold @70+ drops, as do many of us nowadays. The bottles are too hard for squeezing to make much difference - my small fingers can barely make a dent and on it's own the juice is extremely reluctant to drip. I'd not be patient enough to wait on these even for the @30 drops that shorter cartos take. They might be more workable for atty people.
Bryan (Hi Bryan!) sent a very nice message soon after I posted this, with tips about opening the bottles, and I've heard nothing but good things from anyone about Highbrow service. He noted that the seal works against contamination and spillage and I do appreciate those concerns. All that acknowledged, it seems a shame to have to blister one's fingers and mood getting to the good stuff. Love the juice, hate the bottles. And that's a new twist in juice reviews, iddn't it? :2cool:
