Hi X-Priv Reads Low Ohms

I have a X-Priv mod and its saying low ohms please tell me what this means and how to fix it. Im new to vaping so I dont know everything about it.

Sounds like you might have a bad coil. Try changing your coil to see if this takes care of the problem. If your mod is saying low ohms it means it is reading the resistance of the coil and it is below the recommended resistance for the mode your mod is using.

I don't have an X-PRIV, but I'm a pretty good googler and here's what SMOK says about that.

Error on reading resistance - SMOK® Innovation keeps changing the vaping experience!

Your mod can't read the resistance correctly, show "ohms too low" or "ohms too high",it may caused by these points:

1.There's breakdown for the resistance detection component

2.tank screws are not tight down to the mod

3.Loose contact for the tank or mod


Suggestions & Solutions

1.Identify the problem by switching the tank to other mods and fit the mods with other tanks.

A.if the mod works well with other tanks,it should be the problem of the tanks

B.meanwhile it should be the problems of the mod thread part if the tanks works well with other mods.

2.If it is the mod issue, please try to upgrade it if there is firmware updating.

3.Please make sure screws are tight on tank, if you use the RBA coil on your mod.

4.Please screw the tank into the mod nice and tight.

There is a couple reasons this can happen. First and easiest, take your tank off and double check the 510 pin on both the tank and the mod for juice. If there is juice in there, wipe it clean with a Q-tip or a paper towel. Reconnect the tank and check if it is fixed.

If it is still not working right, take the tank apart and make sure your coil is tight. While you have it apart, look inside the coil for debris or any foreign objects. Smok tanks have a pretty straight shot from the drip tip to the coil so it is not unheard of for stuff to get in them. Reassemble and test.

If it still doesn't fix it, change the coil.

Try and see if a different tank works with your mod.

That's not good. Have you had any leaking issues where juice may have gotten into the mod?

No. The only thing I can think of is my cousin spilt water on it the other day. But its worked fine until a couple hours ago

I would advise against trying to wash them out with water. I have one that stops working after a while because I leak juice all over it. Yes im a messy dripper.

Not sure but water may have worked its way into the board-
Take the batteries out and make sure every thing is dry with a paper towel and let air dry with the cover off-
