I enjoyed my juul for a while, and like you also had to charge the thing 2 - 3 times a day. Cost also started becoming an issue after a few months. I was already off of smokes far before that and vaping for pennies a day, I just wanted more nicotine from vaping instead of supplementing with snus constantly.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is a long list of pod mods that have considerably better battery life than the juul and cost far less not only for the device but also pods/refills. This could reduce the need for carrying around multiple devices, charging constantly, and proprietary charging systems.

I would certainly look at your options unless you are totally sold on using the juul for quite a while.

I see people use juuls (or other AIOs) because it's simple and easy.

Yet mine fires at a button press, outside of the house I don't need to refill it; and i'm not carrying around 3 mods, 3 chargers, extra pods, a battery pack, and a car charger adapter.

Makes you wonder if it's really easier or if it's an intimidation factor.

I have found that the low-maintenance, high-nic ease of the Juul works perfect for me. No, I'm not vaping for pennies on the dollar, but having only quit smoking and dipping just 3 weeks ago...I already see savings over what I was spending on tobacco. I may eventually choose to tinker with my other mods I've already picked up, but for now...no other experience has left me satisfied like my Juul. It's not for everyone obviously, but at this point in my quitting journey...it simply works. Love it or hate it, it does seem to rack up results like mine. Glad to be in this community..

My thoughts on juul have changed a bit. I vape mostly subohm rebuilbables but a while back i bought myself a juul kit. Came with the charging dock and 4 pods of different flavors. Mostly because i wanted to see what all the hype and hoohaa was all about. I can say it delivers a really nice nicotine hit and it is a perfect stealth vape at work. Yes, the pods cost as much as a smok tfv 12 coil or a pack of cheaper smokes, around 4 dollars a pod. They come in packs of four and if i use it exclusively a pod will last me about a whole day. Comparable to a pack of smokes except that when i smoked, i went thru 2 packs a day. I only use mine for sneaking a vape at my desk at work so ill get 2 days out of a pod that way. Im not giving up on my regular mods and rebuildables but i gotta say i do like the juul for more reasons than i would have admitted to previously. And the cool mint flavor, IMO, is the best one ive used. Not tried the cucumber melon because i cant find that one yet. All in all, dont knock it til you've tried it i guess. Oh yeah, when you take a hit off the juul, the idicator LED lights up white but if you then shake it back on forth, the light changes colors while youre shaking it. Some unexplainable glitch in the chip causes this "party mode". Go figure.

I tried the Juul once. I took one puff and was like, "Never again this would ruin me for other vapes." That, plus the PG thing.

Juul is doing something right, that is for sure. I just can do similar and at times better things than the Juul, although I have to say for someone vaping at work, and only on break periods or something, it's kind of like the perfect vape.

I am super glad I didn't get one. Not even so much for the money part (heaven knows I have spent plenty on vaping) but I like the variety of my vapes and etc. It seems to me the things that are good about the Juul are also the things that might make me want to use it all the time.

I am also like, "If it works for somebody, well it works." Not everyone wants total hassle free vaping but there is most certainly a reason for its market share, I think.
