Looks pretty similar to the innokin t22 - only downside I could see was the fact it uses a non 510 threaded drip tip - it does say in the review I read though that you can get an adapter.

It has a larger internal battery than a lot of similar kits at 2600 mah too.

I never intended to quit smoking and used to have the mind set that I'd never quit until I died. I came across an ecig website before they were mainstream when I heard they were going to raise cigarette taxes on Roll Your Own tobacco. I wanted to look up on google how much the tax would be and saw a Link saying Electronic Cigarette and clicked on it just to see what it was. I saw it was cheaper than rolling your own tobacco so I decided to try it. It's been over 10 years now and when I try a regular cigarette I cough and it tastes so bad I end up putting it out cause I don't like it. Now I have the mind set that I'll never go back to regular cigarettes but I'll be vaping until I die. I'm not sure what you meant when you said your mother wants to quit (as in all nicotine by any means or just regular cigarettes) but if she can manage to just switch to vaping like I did she'll be much better off health wise.

I don't know much about that specific device, but overall Jaq has a good reputation as a manufacturer. I'd imagine their starter kits are equally good, although honestly, I have a hard time recommending them since I don't own one. If you have the funds to purchase the B, well, it will stand you in good stead as you move up the vaping ladder, but I'd also imagine their starter kits would be "good" starter kits, although needing an adaptor to use the tank elsewhere might be a bit of a downer for me. But, starting small has equal benefits, so... Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

I ended up getting the Innokin T22E plus a pack of 5 coils

Seems great build quality and the top fill is great. Just would like to ask what is the best / easiest way to go about changing liquids / cleaning the tank ?

Only complaint is that the vapour is a little "too warm". Im guessing from the extra power (14W) but apart from that all good

I used an empty eliquid bottle - emptied out the tank into that. Cleaned it with warm water, dried with paper towel and refilled once dry and back together.

There will be some old eliquid flavour in the coil - unless you change that too. But you can usually vape it out in a few inhales and taste the new flavour.

Remembering back - I was actually using a longer driptip at first on my t18. Something like this should be around at a vape store cheap:

I liked mine. It's not a bad starter kit for MTL vaping. It really isn't. It also may not be the BEST starter kit for her, IDK, but I have nothing horrid to say about mine, Nautilus 2 tanks got me off cigarettes the first time, frankly.

This time around, it is harder. But it is certainly ALSO not the Aspire zelos's kit's fault. I still use the N2 coil, but in different tanks and etc.

Glad your mum is doing so well - good on her :)

I went from the t22 to the innokin zenith tank. The zenith is like a big brother of the t22 - more flavour, easy fill top port, longer lasting coils, change coils with a full tank and its never leaked on me.

Have a look at this kit: Innokin zenith & kroma-a kit

thanks i will check it out
the Innokin T22 has never leaked, though it would be great to change coil with full tank.

Im sure the T22 has a 4ml tank, though i read laws prevent sale of over 2ml ?

The Zelos has a 2ml tank and seems more of a hassle to fill than the T22, but i like the display and customisation with settings.

Yes, in the UK we're now limited to 2ML tanks (well, more or less).

I can't speak of the Zelos mod, but the Nautilus 2 is a nice vape, though you can't change the coil with liquid in the tank.

The zenith seems widely praised here, as well as being easy to work with (I've never used it).

Mix & match is fine, so there's nothing to stop you sticking, say, a zenith on a zelos.

As AngeNZ says, check out the Kroma kit, which includes the zenith.
