The Triton and G6 both get excellent reviews, Halo is a very reputable company.

I personally would say the Triton, because the batteries will last a lot longer than the G6. You can control the vapor by what mix of juice you buy - less VG means more flavor, and less vapor (PG = flavor, VG = Vapor).

If you're going to be stealth vaping, another tip is to hold the vapor longer in your lungs - less vapor comes out! :)

I personally wouldn't do either. Much of the Halo stuff has a proprietary threading that sort of locks you into their stuff.

I would go with a pair of nice EGO or EGO Twist batterys and a pair of clearomizers on top such as the Protank mini or EVOD. THe advantage here is the 510/ego threading on the batteries lets you use most of the choices in juice delivery toppers out there rather than being stuck with just what Halo offers.

Something like this KangerTech EVOD BCC Starter Kit - MyFreedomSmokes.com

Are they? I honestly didn't know that! Thanks, yeah, I'm not recommending proprietary stuff.

Both the g6 tank (actually a Kanger T4) and the Triton tank (nearly identical to the Kanger T2) are easy to use and easy to fill.

I will state that I started with Halo and Smokeless Image stuff, and they are both good companies. However, the 808/ego threading does not allow for trying other products without adapters. If I had it to do over again, I would go with 510/ego products...my :2c:

Lots of great suggestions already posted to your thread and thought I would just add another opinion :)

I just received my Halo Triton last week and I absolutely love it! This is my first set up and it is very easy to use, and delivers an excellent vape. I was a 2.5 pack a day smoker and feel very satisfied with the set up and the juice (I am currently using Kringle's Curse 18 nic as well as Mystic Menthol 18 & 24 nic level. Haven't had a cigarette since I began using the set up.

I have also been vaping for 3 weeks. I purchased halo's triton starter pack. It is an excellent tool. I just recently purchased a cheap vv twist battery from the local b&m with an iclear 30s tank on top. Works really well also. I just rotate all three batteries through out the day. With that being said I have been looking for an adapter for my halo batteries so I can attach the iclear. I don't want to make the jump to a bigger mod right, being I've only been vaping 3 weeks. But to get back on track the halo gear is a good buy, there juice is awesome as well. Good luck!!

Not true at all.

Halo uses 808 threading. There are a LOT of 808 threaded parts from different manufacturers. It's far from exclusive to Halo.

Personally, I have trouble recommending anything with 510 threading. I know it's the most common, but it's also where all of the crappy junk is around. Come here any time day or night and I can assure you on the first page there will be a thread about leaking clearos, failed batteries, two parts that don't work together because of poor fit, or other broken parts and it will ALWAYS be 510 threaded parts being discussed.

Another problem with 510 threading is it's fragile. You'll never hear someone say "I broke the threads on my Triton when I accidentally dropped it." 510 threading though...

Halo stuff is among if not THE best. Out of 7 clearomizers I have never had one leak a drop, and never had one fail or need to be replaced. Name me a 510 threaded clearo that never ever leaks. I can lay flat on my back, hold my Triton upside-down, and use it without any gurgling or liquid leaking into the drip tip. Try that with your average Ego and see what happens. And then there are the batteries, which frankly Halo batteries blow Egos out of the water. I've got a Joyetech Ego and a Halo Triton, and my 650 mAh Halo battery lasts longer than my 1000 mAh Ego.

Oh no, you can't put lots of different 3rd party parts on the Halo...

But why would you want to when the Halo parts outperform 99% of the 510 threaded junk?

I have 808 stuff. No it is not that common even in the US. The OP is in Canada where vape gear is not as common as it is in the US. Using 510/ego threaded stuff gives a wider range of choices to find something that works.

Also I drop my gear all the time and have yet to break off a 510 connector even with a protank.

If you like your 808s great more power to you. I happen to think you are limiting yourself.

thx for pointing me to there site!! :>

No problem. The part that sold me was they acdept interac e transfer which is so easy and comes out of the bank right away. I have heard nothing but awesomeness about them. Only thing with canadian vendors is you have to get your juice elsewhere :( but I get mine from canada e juce and so far so good and the price is right. And they also have options for if you dont want 50/50 juice. And a billion flavors. I could go on and on :)
