I honestly didn't think very highly of the Intake, it's very very easy to build but the flavour just wasn't there for me. That was supposed to be a really good rtao_O
The Elevate is an rta I think you will really like, I don't have one myself but it has been recommended by a few reliable vapers on the Forum here.
As for Brunhilde keep in mind there's the MTL version and also the bigger dual coil RTA.
Both are Sensational, very easy to build and awesome flavour:)

Thanks dude!!! Yup, I think it’s decided, for the Brunhilde-many recommend it!...the next issue-MTL or regular! Lol!! I’m presuming the MTL is a single coil? (& the other, as u said, a dual coil)-I’ve really been enjoying single coils-but, I don’t really vape higher than about 60W usually-I’ve just found u chew thru the juice quick with higher wattages. To be fair, it’s been Sub Ohm tanks that have chewed the juice at higher W in my experience-I haven’t experimented with taking my builds to anything over 60w tho (maybe I need to)-
If the Brunhilde MTL is a single coil, could I get away with putting a bit more of a beefy coil in it-(ie fused Clapton or Alien (or something else) rather than a MTL coil) & vape it for maybe a less airy/more restrictive direct lung?? (depending on the airflow of course)
I’m assuming u couldn’t put a beefy single coil in the dual coil Brunhilde because of the airflow-seems to be the case with most dual coil RTA’s/RDA’s in my experience anyway-I’ve found u often don’t have the option of a single coil in a dual coil tank (But I am still very new to this game!). The posts quite often look like it’s a possibility, but the wicking ports/airflow (mostly) end up being cockeye for a single! :blink:Lol!! Maybe I should just stop being difficult & try dual coils! Lol!!:)o_O:cool: What are ur thoughts?

I honestly think you should give the Big Brunhilde a go!(Dual Coil);)

MTL Brunhilde(single coil) would get too hot with a beefy Clapton in it if you're vaping at around 60 watts.
I have two MTL ones in rotation atm and only vape them at 20 watts yet I still find it really heats up with a bit of a chain vape.
With 60 watts and an alien in there the poor girl would melt:evil:

    @Rachael J

    Welcome, from Newtown, Sydney

How are you so chirpy and with the exclamations and shizz, dont you know its #EndTimes :)

Collecting, you say...you have The Sickness. I never had this...never got into collecting, maximum tanks i ever had at one time was 3, and only ever 2 mods. Maybe i was lucky :) or poor...yup its was mostly poor. Plus im an aspie, so everything has to pass the rationalization test...so theres that, everything has to justify its existence

Me, started rebuilding from day one, (think Rod Stewart) My first tank was the cheapest, baby i know, the firts tank was the cheapest....but seriously, my first was the KangerTech Subleak Spitty (or as it was commercially known, the Subtank Mini), i got the worst leaky spitty one of all time. Couldnt be fixed, and im a once bitten type, so my netx move after 3 days as a new vaper with that was to the Lemo 1. Then not too long after the Lemo 2, which i still vape to this day, over 4 years later. In between have bene nay number of tanks, most sent back to whence they came, but ive had a few good ones, which cant be had now (always single coil RTA's dont see the point in the extra maintenance of duals, and all i ever tried were disappointments over a single):

    OBS Crius II RTA
    SJMY Kayfun 5 clone
    Wofoto Serpent SMM

Those were the only ones that last more than a week at mine....as well as the 3 or 4 Lemo 2's i had on tap...mostly as spares as i long ago switched to unflavoured juice, so didnt need multiple tanks for diff flavours

Currently waiting on the Ulton Tripod RTA from FastTech (should hopefully be here next week?), which is my first vape purchase in like 3 years...good timing, i ordered just as this covid stuff kicked off... Interesting RTA and not expensive (USD$30) as the original (USD$130). good rep as a flavour tank, will do DL and MTL as it has airflow reducers in the package for both the airflow and chimney, and twist and pull disassembly instead of threads....theres also an extension tank 2ml - > 3.4ml which you can buy as an additional part (USD$5). Waiting on mine as its in "restocking" status and was due to be sent last week, but extended another week, hopefully only 2 more days before its on its way!

Me, i only ever use boring plain round wire builds, long ago figuring out claptons offer nothing in improvement for me, i still believe most of that malarkey is because people like looking at the shiny stuff, and im a no nonsense type anyways.

Ive been wrapping 7 or 8 wraps of 26 gauge wire on a 3mm ID for 5 years now, just the wire type has changed, kanthal to 316L SS....easy repeatable consistent vaping...oh yeah, i was an early adopter of temperature control and hated wattage mode, still do, once temperature control came along and i could get the same exact vape every time i hit the button, that was me....

I'll also add that while theres a few Aussies on here and an Aussie section here on ECF, it doesnt get a lot of traffic, so feel free to join our home forum: vapinginaustralia.com good people, a lot of laughs
Thanks for the welcome & all the info!!!
I’ve suffered chronic illness/disability since I was 13, so I have really had no choice but to be optimistic/look for SOME positive, even if it’s small-I quickly found out at a young age that in general, people don’t like to be around a misery guts, so, I personally try to live life on the brighter side whenever I can (it isn’t possible 100% of the time I know!)-I do know what’s happening in the world, I do watch the news-it’s absolutely shocking!
The social distancing/constantly washing hands etc. etc. isn’t out of the norm for me tho-I have to be ultra careful all of the time because I have a shot immune system due to my treatment. I spend a lot of time socialising on the net, cause it can be real unsafe for me (particularly in winter) to socialise in person.

Yes, I have been bitten by the bug, well & truly! Lol! I really love to “tinker”, so building has become a bit of an obsession (I do tend to get obsessed about hobbies-I’ve been told by psychiatrists that I have a LOT of Autistic tendencies-but, they have also said to me that everyone is on the spectrum, it just depends to what extent). I’m also a very practical/logical person, but, as I said, prone to going “all in” on things. I’m also no good at fantasy/fiction-practically everything I learn read/watch, I feel, needs to have a purpose, a use, to me/someone else).

Aren’t we just upto 4 on the Kayfun GT (& clones?)-I didn’t know there was a 5. Ive been looking at FastTech today actually, with the view of picking a Kayfun GT4 clone up soon (to see if I like that style). I’ve also been looking at the SvoëMesto Kayfun lite clone too-it seems to have many tank options-PEI/PC/Acrylic
variations (I’m thinking I will avoid acrylic, more likely PEI, maybe PC), & they come in a 22mm or 24mm. The Vaping Bogan apparently can’t put his genuine SvoëMestoXKayfun Lite down, it’s that good. I’ve also heard that the clones of both are really excellent, & near identical to the genuine.

Thanks for the suggestions, I have a serpent elevate on the way-I’ve been looking at the OBS Crius too-(probably down the track) I’ve noticed some sites are starting to sell them at reduced prices, so I maybe able to bag a bargain at some stage! I would be interested to hear how the Ulton Tripod RTA goes for you!

Each to their own (tho I get it about the round wire builds that u do-I sometimes go for a plain round 26g, but it’s fairly rarely). I do like to tinker & be creative, so making my own coils is on the horizon-I’m allergic to nickel (only A1 Kanthal or SS for me)-most of the interesting coils are Ni80, so there is added incentive to make my own (since customs are quite expensive). Ive just been experimenting to find what works best for me coil wise, then, I may stick to 1 type-who knows, but for me, I’m finding 1 coil “fits all” tanks doesn’t work with my style of vaping-since it’s flavour that I’m after (I did read you go for unflavoured juice)-Of course we are all different!!!
I’ll most definitely check out the Aussie forum, thanks for the link! Thanks again for all the info!:)

Yes, I have found different cotton works with different tanks, still experimenting with rayon, looks like you have similar taste to me, to the above poster about fasttech, hope you do actually get what you ordered, I've been waiting 6 weeks now for a smoant 200w mod and a fatality m25 rta, hopefully I'll get them soon, I'm not actually in a rush to have them so I'll leave it for another month, let fasttech catch up
Cheers! Thanks for the welcome!:) Yeah, I haven’t ordered from FastTech yet, so I can’t comment on postage-it sounds like there is bit of a glitch in the matrix for them ATM tho, since from what I’ve read, they are usually really good with getting orders out fairly quickly. I think in general, postage has all but ground to a halt globally with all that’s going on:(-I have about 5 shipments floating somewhere in the world, 1 or 2 orders that were placed as far back as December/January:blink:
I’d be interested to hear what u think of the fatality M25, it was 1 of the Vaping Bogan’s best 5 for 2019:headbang:

I do have the augvape intake, single coil, it's not a personal favourite of mine, not got the dual so cant help on that,I do occasionally use it cause it's a pretty good stealth tank when built and using 60/40 juice, I loved it at one stage but fell out of favour when I rebuilt my manta and reload
Cheers! Thanks! I’ve been seeing the Manta a fair bit-it’s a MTL isn’t it? Or does it come like the Brunhilde-a MTL & Single or dual coil version? What have u found is the best build to put in it?

    My pleasure!
If you need any advice on Brunhilde at all just ask away.
Do keep in mind that the conversion rate with the US dollar is pretty average atm, it shot up a week or so ago so it may be worth shopping around between Aussie websites and other websites which charges US dollars:thumb:

We could be twins, maybe lol.

I have aspergers, and i too have had to embrace optimism as a way of living otherwise the dreaded depression sets in, and i wouldnt recommend that to anyone. It also helps that i have fully embraced being an aspie , so i embrace my quirks and sometimes ramp them up for my own amusement...like my purchase of my first Teddy at the ripe age of 45, after deciding id not had a real childhood. First it was going to be a one off joke to take him to my once fortnightly coffee with mates, but when it really sent one of them badly sideways, i knew i'd hit a nerve and once i find a nerve, i like to pick at it...so the Bear stunts got progressively more socially embarrassing (for him)...no more the day i tuned up with the Bear in a bay harness, strapped to the front of me. Luckily our local cafe, where we've been customers for 20 years, likes to embrace my madness and i actually get reprimanded when i leave the bear at home :) Evidence of my madness in pics here: Shinyitis Support Group

I also have zero immune protection, so every time ive been out lately, when ive reported in on the forums ive called my adventures for that day "Running the COVID Gauntlet" :) But yes with aspieness comes a big helping of included social distancing, so im sorted on that front.

A also tend to go down the rabbit hole on things that interest me, the one part of vaping i missed when i gave it up for a few months (as i was trying things to rule out it as a cause for a long illness i had - 2.5 years horizontal with crippling dizziness anyone?) was the gadgetry. Having to give up Todd's and DJLSB's gear reviews and tinkering was the hardest part......

Think you mean Taifun GT...easy to get the two mixed up!

The Kayfun 5 clone from SJMY i had (its on my mod on the table in the Bear in harness pic, atop the mighty TreeBox Mini) had, apparently according to someone who owner the original, better threading than the original he was sent for review. It was equal 2nd best tank i ever had.

I havent seen a Crius II for eons as i have been looking to replace some of the gear i gave away when i quit for a while..always a danger when you sell/give away vape gear :) So you may never find one, but they were nice and easy to build and a good vape, most gear by OBS was.

Hehe yeah love my boring 26g and unflavoured!

Will update you on the Tripod when/if it arrives...its been twice pushed back for freight by FastTech by 7 days, and they just added 10 days on 2 days ago, so sometime before 2021...theyre doing it tough and the staff have been appreciating a nice and supportive email or two from me (which will revert to my usual "where is it?" when this all over)

Maybe catch on the home forum, or here again. Glad to get your reply!

    Take care in this madness.

Wishing all your TP to be long rolls and plentiful....

Yeah, 1 positive out of this whole situation we are all in!! :thumb: I’m trying my best to support Aussie vape businesses right now (with the current situation), but, unfortunately, they haven’t reduced their prices to reflect the USD going down somewhat (I guess they did most likely buy their stock at higher prices after all when I think about it!)-There doesn’t seem to be much hardware moving around the world/getting into the country (with Chinese new year then Corona hot on its heels)-not sure if prices will eventually come down here to reflect the cheaper prices they most likely paid their distributor-I’m thinking they may just pocket the extra profit rather than pass it on to the customer unfortunately. Just about all here just can’t compete price wise with US/China sellers. If it’s a massive price difference, or a tank I just can’t get here that I desperately want, I’ll go international-but the postage is frustrating at the best of times, let alone right now! :-x
I don’t know where u are in the world, but here in Australia, the government is giving disabled pensioners (like me) $750 and another $750 in July as part of the economic stimulus package-most will go into savings, but I will most definitely have to treat myself to a couple of tanks I think!
I’m mainly trawling the “sale” section of sites here-the benefits at least 3 fold-supporting local, able to nab some super bargains, & generally, they seem to be tanks that have been out a while-so I can usually get a good idea as to whether or not they are any good, based on YouTube reviews/this forum-tried & tested so to speak. Being disabled, & being on a very limited income makes the research on tanks/mods super important-I can’t really afford duds & mistakes!! The sale section is where I found the serpent elevate-I was real stoked on that one-and cheap!!
I quite often look at 3A vape, but I seem to be having issues with being able to select English & AUD-I used to be able to-just suddenly 1 day, even tho I’m selecting English, it won’t let me-it will let me select every other language, except English!! Very frustrating!!!:-x

Out of curiosity Rachael what mods are you using?
    I'm an Asmodus Fan:thumbs:
    View attachment 877465
OMG!! I have just been drooling over the Thor II in the last couple days!! A dream mod for me!! I don’t have any DNA’s, but I would love one!! I’ve been looking at a cheap (clearance) Wismec Reuleaux DNA250 (TC/VW) 3X18650, already $50 off that comes down further to $110 with a discount code. I’m sceptical about the site (I’ve never bought from them), & the mod-whether or not it’s genuine (at that price)-I can find next to zero info/reviews on the particular mod I’m looking at. Seems a bit sus to me!
The Thor II is the no 1 dream, but the Odin 250C DNA of Bogan’s (& a couple others) is an extremely close 2nd-the Thor no 1 as I’m an absolute purple tragic, I just adore that colour!
When I started out I had a Nord, closely followed by an OBS cube, VooPoo Drag, then made the mistake of buying a Aegis X-I went for it because I was convinced by the salesman that it was (supposedly-yeah right) tough-I’m in a chair, so I’m a bit tough on my “daily” out & about mods-they unfortunately get dropped from time to time (although not from a great height)-even tho I try to be as careful as I can! It’s a bit hard when u have both ur hands/arms occupied, wheeling a chair! Invariably the mod gets chucked in the lap/between the legs, (since it’s easier to get to than in the backpack on the back of my chair)-so accidents are bound to happen-even with screen protector & silicone case! I should have gone with the legend! Nevertheless, it looks like Geekvape will replace the X under warranty, since the screen of it is a design fault-they shouldn’t have “rushed” it’s release with how vulnerable the screen is-& it’s curved too, so hard to properly protect, with say a glass screen protector. It took a fair bit of arguing tho-threats to never buy another Geekvape mod & to tell my friends about my experience...they have been great with me ever since:) Just waiting to see what their “verdict” is-but I have emails saying they will replace it. It will go on the shelf I’m thinking when it gets back to me-probably next year sometime! Lol! :thumbs:long story short, I’m back to the VooPoo!
I also have a Tesla Punk Nano 120W (which only comes out at home, & when I’m in my recliner! Lol!!;))-I love that thing!! It looks super cool, & hits HARD!!
I’ve got a Asmodus lustro as a back up-that was bought for next to nothing-I haven’t even taken it out of the box-I’ve heard it can be a bit of a pain with its gesture control/touch screen-as I said, just a backup!
The latest purchase is a Dovpo topside Carbon, which is awesome-just a shame about the parasitic battery draw on YiHi’s.
& I run Nic salts in a VooPoo Vinci X.
    Sorry, long reply!!
I’m definitely doing much more research before I buy anymore mods-I can’t really afford to make too many mistakes! Fortunately, many of the Aussie stores I use are happy to put aside a tank/mod for me until I can pay/finalise my decision after doing some research-so I’m lucky in that respect!
I’m presuming u have Minikin’s-what do u think of them? The Minikin Kodama looks nice!:hubba:

Same here, limited income, dont do duds, i have somewhat of a reputation for not losing a $1 on vape gear in all the years ive vaped, because if it doesnt work as advertised, back it goes and back my money comes. Some vendors have learned the hard way to just return my money :)
