It's been a while since I've been able to get on here but I've missed PIF a bunch. I'm going to be looking through my stuff and hopefully gather up some things to PIF here in a few days...Summer Cleanin instead of Spring Cleanin lol. I am doing something that I've never thought I would EVER do before...Run! If you would have told me 20 or so years ago that I would be running for ANY reason I would have just laughed and said NO WAY, NOT EVER! LOL. But, things change and I want to make a difference so I am running for an organization called Team In Training The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and for Breast Caner. I was going to sell my P16 for funds for these runs I am going to be doing but so many people told me no no no don't sell your P16, ask the community to support you in these great causes that it snowballed into something wonderful! To me, it truly is not about how much is given, not at all...it's that you simply gave. I am so humbled and truly touched by all the support that has been given. I have raised enough money to do my half marathon in San Antonio Texas on November 13th 2012 another run for Breast Cancer that will be before this one, (I'm still waiting on more details) and almost have enough to do the Houston Texas half marathon on January 15th 2012. And only because of everyone gracious gifts, which I will be greatfull for, forever. These runs, the one in November and the one in January are 13.1 miles and have to be ran in 4 hours, the Breast Cancer Run that I am awaiting more information on will be a 40 mile walk/run in 2 days. My goals are simple enough since these are my first runs ever...complete them in less time than is required, even if it is by a single minute. I am training hard and working hard, not only for myself, but for you and for these wonderful causes. God Bless everyone for there support
