Hi Chris. From the above description I don't think you're dealing with a 510 OR a cartomizer. If there is a metal foil over the end of the cart I suspect you have a model similar to the M-401, 402, 403 series. Refilling those is a little different. They don't use the polyfiber filler. They are a plastic cart with a smaller, foil covered plastic reservoir inside. To refill you straighten out a paper clip and poke it through the hole in the mouth piece popping out the inner reservoir. Refill this inner cup no more than 2/3 full and pop it back in. It's sometimes easiest to do this with a hypodermic needle. I've found these style carts to be kind of a pain in the .... myself. If this is indeed what you have I hope you find this post helpful.

Do it, chris. The best move I ever made was getting out of glasgow. And I say it not because I hate glasgow - it's actually ok - but just seeing how other people live is a great thing to do. I didn't plan on staying alll my life in italy, but I'm still here, and now living at 6,000ft in the Alps. (I couldn't stand Milan any longer!). Where I am now is like living in a postcard. People say I'm lucky, and that's true, but in this life, sometimes you have to make your own luck.

Neds & Bams - lmao - I used to live in Byres Road and when I was younger, we used to get chased by neds now and again. Glasgow's quieter nowadays, but I bet a good pair of trainers is still handy to have!

Maclean, you are indeed very lucky! Sounds beautiful, I can only dream of living 6000ft up in the alps. Maybe someday, though. I think I will take your advice - need to get out of here, there is a lot more to life than Scottish people (especially Glaswegians) think. Sometimes I feel that a lot of people here only care about alcohol and other drugs.

Of course, as you will know, not everyone is like this.

I'm surprised you got chased in Byres Rd! That is one of the much nicer areas especially now, though I can't speak for 20 years ago
