What I've done so far that I will probably make again:

Caramel Pecan RY4

TFA RY4 double 10%
TFA Caramel Candy 3%
TFA Vanilla Swirl 3%
TFA Graham clear 2%
TFA Brown Sugar 2%
TFA Pecan 4 drops

I have two requests for a bottle of this! I am VERY proud of myself :D

Lavender Vanilla

Cap Vanilla Custard 12%
TFA Vanilla Swirl 5%
5 drops of FW Lavender

Okay, this is one that sounds really weird and probably only a few people would actually like, but I LOVE it. Lavender comes off as herbal, not like perfume. I've enjoyed it as a food flavor but rarely been able to find it in much. I have a tea I really like, and once I found a white chocolate lavender truffle (If you ever get to Deadwood SD, there is a place called the Chubby Chipmunk that makes the BEST truffles you will EVER eat..they ship too). I am going to play with the vanilla base..I think I can improve this, but it's a good start!

I have some other stuff that has turned out modestly okay but needs more tweaking before sharing.

But the BIG thing here: OMG I can do this and have stuff that is at least as good as what I was spending $15 and more (sometimes much more) for a bottle!! It WORKED! I'm hooked :D

Dena, I'm excited for you. I just plunged last night and ordered PG/VG/flavorings (plus 200 disposable pipettes) for about $60. I'm planning on mixing all at 0 nic, as I have 36mg unflavored that I use to cut my existing stash (my S.O. only does 0 nic - and sometimes I want more or less).

I ordered a "sample pack" of LorAnn flavorings (1/8 oz or 3.7ml each) I'm not 100% sure how concentrated the flavorings are, so I don't know how high a percentage I need to go in my base. I've read everywhere from 5%-15%

Hoping to receive supplies later this week.... I may "borrow" some of your recipes ;)

DingerCPA I have a gray cat that looks just like the one in your avatar. Well, I say cat..he thinks he's a dog really.

Not that I am in any position just yet to be passing out advice, what I would do with the lorann is maybe start out at the lowest percentage you've seen recommended and adjust from there. I've already learned that lesson. I have probably more capella than anything else and found out I like it better at 12-15% and not the 20% I dove in head first with. Can't wait to see how it goes for you!

I was probably spending upwards of $250 a month on juice which was just nuts. I'm one of those who will never have an all day vape because I love to try new stuff so much. I'm positively blown away at how great this is for me..I put off trying DIY for a long time because I figured I'd end up with nothing but really underwhelming results, or stuff that was perfumey/chemical tasting like MBV (sorry if anyone here is a fan of them..they just happen to be my least favorite juice). When I got that RY4 to work out so well, it was like EUREKA!! This is not rocket science!

Sitting here with my Saturday morning coffee, vaping cap chocolate glazed donut at 15%..it's REALLY good and that wasn't even a "recipe"..capella already did the work. Anyone could do that, and at about $2 for a 30 mL of it, sorry vendors, I think I'm done with you guys.

Lucky (a.k.a. "Bubba", a.k.a. "Chumley" - and he answers to all of them) is my "special needs" boy. He was rescued from the engine compartment after a 45 mile trip into town. Took him a year to trust humans, and now, if the dog is nowhere to be found, he won't leave a human alone :D

I don't have an ADV either - too hyper, I guess. I have 24 flavors that I've ordered - many appear to be usable on their own. I like creamy fruits and flavored coffees, so I'll try some vanilla or custard with a blueberry, cherry and cheesecake, or chocolate hazelnut with coffee.

I have a quart of PG and a quart of VG on its way. I should be able to create a lot of trouble, for not a whole lot of money. I had been feeling good at about $0.30/ml (a few from MVB or when my local B&M has a sale) Getting excited.....

Tonight was my third "mixing session"

A silly thing I've picked up: When washing glass drippers, the glass comes out from the squonker and is easy to put back in. That's so much easier than sucking up and squeezing out water repeatedly. Derp.

I need some kind of shelf system or something to organize my flavorings alphabetically and I'm going to do something this weekend.

I think I have a pretty good system down though. I mixed 15 (!) bottles tonight. I calculated everthing in my e-juiceme up, then wrote it on a piece of paper. Then I set each bottle on a labled piece of paper with the name of the juice. First I did the nic to get it out of the way and the lid back on, then the VG and PG. I had several mixes with flavors in common, so I did all the vanilla in one go, then all the strawberry, (etc etc) and crossed each one off the list on my recipe paper. I also put away that flavor and syringe, to help eliminate mistakes.

I think I'm going to be in "I want to try EVERYthing!" mode for awhile. So fun to have FIFTEEN freaking new juice flavors to try without having to spend over $100 (at least) buying them from a vendor.

Your posts are fun to read, I just made my first 2 "official" mixes this am so I can relate...I want to order more already too. It sure is fun though so far! The weird thing for me is catching stuff/odors/notes that are in vendors mixes, I was surprised that I figured out what flavor of apple is used in a local vendors blend...that for me was a little strange, and I find myself paying more attention to flavors now then I used to.

I've noticed that too..along with juices that completely baffle me as well. People's Vape Kremlin is one of those. It's kind of like a peanut butter cream but I'd be willing to bet there's no peanut butter in it. Maybe someday I'll be good enough at this to combine flavors together to make them taste like something else like that.

I have for sure made some stinkers already too, speaking of peanut butter :D

WOOT! I wrapped my first coil today and am proudly dripping on my brass monkey RDA tonight! This is going to make life SO much easier now that I've become DIY obsessed.

AND..

Inawera Honey 4% (I know most say 3 for those flavors but I can't taste them at 3 even after a week and will probably even go 5 on my next batch)
TFA Sweet cream 10 %

When cinnamon candy comes in the mail this week I'm going to add that a drop at a time till I find the right level..I'm thinking it's going to taste like those flavored honey tubes you see sometimes. Heck, that Inw isn't just honey, it's clover honey even.

Baseballmom how are your Official Mixes coming along?

DingerCPA how are yours going? BTW..my silly gray cat (aka Grady) got into a scrap with someone here in our neighborhood and is on antibiotics for his poofed out eye. He's a bit..forward..sometimes and finds that other cats don't feel the same way. He's a pound kitty himself..7 of my 8 critters are rescues because I am a sucker. Shhhh..don't tell that hoarders show!
