Help urgently, Ijoy pd270 not turning on!

Hello guys,

I have PD270. I have decided to update the firmware. Downloaded updater, the firmware (v1.5) for PD270 and when I press UPDATE it says either DFU ERROR or BAD STATE MACHINE IN FIRMWARE. The mod is not turning on anymore, but the UPDATER still can find it in DFU mode

Please help guys, I dont want to lose this mod...

I did everything like in instructions.
My actions:
1. Brought out batteries
2. Held FIRE button on the mod
3. Connected through USB to PC
4. "Device found in DFU mode" says the updater
5. Chose the file (Captain PD270_v1.5.dfu)
6. Pressed the UPDATE button and the error messages came out

How can I reflash the stock firmware? I have only one DFU file and that is v1.5

I'm sure there's a stock firmware somewhere on the internet. Try reddit, official website, this forum, other forums. If nothing works, send an email to ijoy and request them for it. One of my friends did the same with an al85. And the company smok was happy to send the stock firmware.

Okay okay I got it working..

The instructions written by IJOY is completely INCORRECT!
I guess they do not know English and could not properly write down manual.

I should have opened the batter cover, so that my device turns off, then I had to press and hold FIRE button and close the battery cover - the screen stays black. After that, I release FIRE button and connect device to PC, UPDATER finds it and I just update forward...

While manual said I dont need batteries AF for the update...

FOLLOW THESE STEPS...
1,uninstall atomizer
2,open battery door,but batteries left in mod!
3,hold FIRE some sec.
4,close battery door
5,plug in USB cable
6,chose update and click on update! (it will work,I HOPE)
7,after updater finished,unplug cable
8,open again battery door,but batteries stay on!
9,hold again some sec FIRE and after close the door...
I hope it help you....i had same problem,and its work for me!

1. Take battery out. Stick it in your ear.
2. Wave dead cat over your head three times.
3. Standing on one leg plug in USB.
4. Launch updater.
5. Find update file (Written in Mandarin Chinese).
6. Press fire button 27 times while reciting the Gettysburg address backwards.
7. Hope for the best.
8. Update starts when smoke alarm goes off. (This is normal).
9. Update complete when computer displays " Your computer is locked. Deposit 1000.00 US dollars the following bank account..."
10. We wish you happiness, joy and fulfillment.

Cool you got it working,your saying the battery door opening kills the power to your mod?edit to add.is the door the negative contact?

ROTFL, #8 is so close to what I actually saw for a heat gun yesterday. I've decided my strategy of collecting primo mini's is a good one
