Hi, I'm Murilo, from Brazil.

So, I've bought an alien 220w kit about 5 months ago and everything was working fine. Yesterday, my mod was always saying that there was no coil, even thought I didn't do anything, just changed my atomizer. When I changed back, there was the same message. After that, I decided to update my system, to the 1.3.1 (it was 1.2.1 before). When I was updating, just before it finished, it cancelled the process and now my mod won't turn on. I think the system is corrupted. Does anyone know what can I do now?

Yea hopefully you can return it or exchange it and maybe pick a different brand of mod. It’s my opinion that smok worries more about putting out more mods than taking the time and making quality mods. A case of quantity over quality.
If you need a new mod Smoant has quality, well built mods for the same or Less expensive than your alien. Voopoo, Tesla, and vaporesso are a few more companies that make mods well thought of by the members on this forum. Best of luck and I hope your issue is solved to your satisfaction.

also, if you bricked it during a firmware update, it's possible that you had the wrong firmware. Do a search for fixing bricked alien, there's probably a few others that had this happened and someone may have provided a solution.

A quick search and I found this: "i accidentally flashed another mods firmware and it was stuck on updating when i unplugged it wasnt booting up although i found that if u have it plugged in and without batteries and you hold the fire button you can boot it up even if its bricked so you can flash the firmware"

Welcome and glad you joined.
Could contact:
local B&M Vape Shop (Visit) -----Might be simple.
Vendor who sold it ---see if they will repair or replace or advise (any authorized distributor).
Manufacturer contact ---see if they will repair or replace or advise.
