Just got out of the army in the beginning of June, and will be moving back to Louisville ky in the next 2-3 weeks. I need info on finding a really good b&m in the Okalona/hillview area. I'm currently in clarksville tn. And I'm pretty sad to be leaving my favorite shop here. A good friendly feel, selection, and knowledge of products is pretty important to me. Don't know how many Louisville area vapers are on here, but if there are any, suggestions would be awesome! Thanks!!

AltSmoke is a wonderful shop. I have been to the one in Middletown when visiting family. Very knowledgeable staff, great e-liquid bar, and they even have rebuildable classes once a month.

Went in there the last time I was home, but It made me feel pretty awkward. Could have just been me, but it weirded me out for some reason

Sorry you experience wasn't as good as mine. I've been at this for 8 years and I haven't seen any store as good as this, even here in Minneapolis. I spent about 1 hour there chatting with the staff and trying out their 5-Pawns juice. Picked up some juice and a few odds and ends. Most of my hardware I get online.

Check out this thread. Maybe you'll see some other options. Louisville Kentucky, good vape shops?

I work in Louisville, and there are 2 B & M's that I know of. One is the Alt Smoke store. They are located on the east end on Shelbyville road near MIddletown/Lyndon. The other one is called Cit-E-Cig. I would prefer AltSmoke. Cit E Cig has barely any inventory, and they mark everything up more than other B&M's.
Okalona is just a little bit south of Middletown/Lyndon...probably a 15 minute drive up the Watterson from 65. And it's in a neat plaza with a Good Foods and some other places. They are nice in there.

I'm sure there are more, even on the Indiana side of the river.

I'm in Clarksville, curious what shops you like here, there's a bunch of them. Some are even hard to find or don't show up in google, found some through word of mouth or Facebook.

The one that I like the most is Saturn vapor on 41a across from the clarksville wal mart. Best place in town. They have the best prices around here, and genuinely do strive to please customers. I will miss that place dearly

Thanks! I'll check them out, that's one of the few I haven't been to. Good luck in KY and on finding a good shop.

AltSmoke isn't bad, but def geared more towards the advanced vaper. Cool Breeze is more in your area, and they're decent people with a decent selection. But my absolute favorite shop is Cit-E-Cig, down in Lyndon. Friendly, VERY knowledgable staff with a decent selection of gear, some great juices (including some superb local stuff), and a very local, down-home feel. Well worth checking out.

Then there's a bunch of your typical crap shops that sell Chinese juices and .... equipment for too much money. Not that any shop I didn't mention falls into that category, but I've listed most of the good shops in town. Your best bet is gonna be to do your own research once you get here, but you've got some good places to start. Just make sure you don't go to Maxx.

I'll have to check out cit-e-cigs! Thanks for the heads up. Those are definitely the kinds if places I like. I've been in cool breeze, they were mediocre to me (not bad though) and I've also heard of derb e cigs. I will be checking them out as well. It's funny that you mentioned not going to Maxx, because I went in the one on bardstown road about a month ago, and I have to say, that place was the biggest joke I've ever seen. I almost wanted to stand outside the store and intercept people and send them to another store. I have never been so disrespected in my life. Customer service is non existent in that place, and let's not even talk about the fact that EVERYTHING in that store is the cheapest looking knockoffs of any gear I've ever seen. They won't even sell any liquid other than a 70/30 pg/vg blend. I would sacrifice my own children (don't have any, but I would) before I stepped foot into that place ever again. End rant
