I got a kanger e smart and it has a clearomizer with non removable parts. I started getting a burnt flavor taste so I tried cleaning it. I took it apart from the battery and rinsed it under warm water. I let it air dry for 5 hrs and then when i tried to dry burn it the battery light just keeps flashing and it doesn't go on. The battery is fully charged and when i separated it from the clearomizer the light stays on when i press the button so the battery works. But when i attach it to the clearomizer it doesn't work at all and the light just keeps flashing. I tried filling it with e liquid but i get the same thing, flashing light. I tried another clearomizer on the same battery and it works fine. What did i do wrong? Is there anything i can do to fix it?

Welcome , but don't you have any other clearo's ???? If not , hopefully you live near some brick and mortar where you can get more . That being said . You need to have backups for everything . batteries , clearo's or carto's ( what ever your using ) chargers , etc . Or you risk being without ( like now ) Good Luck You can always find some disposables at a 7/11 , or a liquor store , until you get a replacement .

sounds like you might be running on zero ohms. That is, no heating wire.
I am not familiar with the kanger esmart, but if you can remove the clearomizer in some way, you should be able to get a better idea of the problem. If you can figure out a way to remove the atomizer:
-Test the battery with another clearomizer or with the clearomizer removed. If there is no blinking, then your problem is with the clearomizer.

And if it's a disposable ecig, I would just play with its guts; as far as I'm concerned, disposable ecigs are broken on arrival. I say "broken" because we have access to more efficient vaping technology that are friendlier to the planet. With a little more effort and investment, I think we can find even better ways by looking in the direction of renewable energy.

First it is fine to dry burn period, and it will bring life back to a dead one or one that used some sweet juice cause sugar does not vaporize. It sounds to me that the clearo is shorting out the battery, other than a dead battery is the only reason for it to flash like that. If you find something that is leaking then clean it up quickly cause the juice will eat the rubber insulator on the battery which keeps the positive and negative separated. One other thing is not to put your devise on the battery too tight. Screw it till it just starts to feel snug and stop. Over tightening will also short out the insulator. I don't like them but get a box of carto's to have as a back-up(low resistance). Good luck
