Just a quick question: Anybody know anything about the Efest Pink 5000mAh 45a 26650?

Well, I think they are actually purple...I was trying to see if mooch had anything on it and saw a thread about a pink efest 5000mAh 45a but the battery Im referring to is Efest IMR 26650 5000mAh 45A flat top battery - Batteries - EFEST

Im actually holding off on getting the ijoy 26650 till i find out if these efest ones are any good

Yeah, he did reply to that thread saying he hasn't tested it yet so I came here to see if anyone else knew anything about it, if the label is somewhat accurate

Hi and welcome! If I were betting money, I’d say it’s nowhere near that rating. Maybe ~4,000-4,200 mAh, and nowhere near 45A as that is impossible in a 26650 form factor. I’d treat it as a 20A battery until Mooch proves otherwise.

I have a couple efest button tops in provari size. They don't last as long as the AW (I don't use them much anymore after buying some new AW). I'd agree that their specs are likely overrated but I wouldn't know how much and if you use that battery, I'd suggest a low wattage application in order not to strain the battery.

Hi and welcome. Efest is pretty famous for over-estimating their batteries' specs. If it's really 5000 mAh, I wouldn't bet on 45A. In fact, I wouldn't bet on 45A CDR if it was 3000 mAh.
