Hi Everyone! New to the forums, and new to vaping.

I smoked analogs for 21 years. 15 or more analogs a day, every day. I finally decided to give vaping a try. At first I would alternate, one round I would have an analog, one round I would vape. That lasted about 2 days. After that, the taste of analogs was just horrible compared to the 12mg Halo Tribeca I was vaping (at the recommendation of the very kind gentleman at my local vape shop). 2 days or so later I was down to 1 analog a day. I asked myself, "I don't like it anymore, why even bother"?? So, I took my last pack, stuck it in the freezer, and there it's sat. I've been smoke free for ~8 days now. I don't miss analogs. Not even a little bit.

I started off with a Vision Spinner starter kit, but quickly upgraded to a Kanger Aerotank.

While visiting another local vape shop I saw a REALLY nice looking e-cig.... I asked the nice lady about it and, to my surprise, she let me try hers. A couple of hits and I was hooked. I picked up my black ProVari Mini (she gave me 20% off, and tons of points at her store, I've actually got enough for a free juice!). I've been vaping that, along with my Aerotank until this afternoon when I picked up my Aerotank Mega.

Now I feel like I've got it. The Mega sits nicely on the Mini and holds lots of juice. I'm able to blow larger clouds, and the flavor pops better than the regular Aerotank. Of course that could just be my excitement at getting a new toy. :2cool: That's what my wife says anyways.

My wife! Did I mention, I got her to put her analogs down as well? She's using her Vision Spinner/Kanger Aerotank, vaping Halo's Sub Zero. She tried an analog yesterday and told me "you're lucky you didn't try one with me, this thing is AWFUL!"

I've tried a couple of other flavors since, though my staple is Tribeca. I don't think I'd have been able to quit as easily without it. That said, I do enjoy my Ruthless Ez Duz It. I've also got a Ruthless Swamp Thang waiting for me.

I went to the doctor today to have him examine a spot on my face (he thinks it's dermatitis). He asked if I still smoked and I told him I had switched to vaping. He said "Well, obviously we don't know the long term effects of vaping....but I'll tell you this. You're MUCH better off."

Anyways, just thought I'd introduce myself. It's nice to meet you all!

Welcome to the best forum around ...anywhere.
When your doctor said "Well, obviously we don't know the long term effects of vaping...." you should of said true, but we do know the long term effects of cigarettes !!
Anyway, even with the small doubts it sounds like he has, ..he's informed enough to know you did the right thing.
Glad your wife joined you .. you guys will support each other all the way, and can share the fun ride together.
Congrat's to you both for having some "smarts" and not supporting the tobacco company's anymore.
It can be expensive to get started, but you make up for it and start padding the wallet once you find what works for you, unless you turn
it into a "hobby" like me.
Welcome ..to you both.

Hello, welcome and congratulations on quiting smoking and on your Provari purchase. There are many passionate Provari owners on this site. A well known YouTuber in the E-cigarette community (PBusardo) recently spent some time with the Provape (the company that makes the Provari) owners and their employees touring the factory in Seattle, Washington. If you are interested here are his videos:

Congrats on both you and your wife's quitting! This Ecigarette thing has become somewhat of a hobby of mine as I'm sure it will with you too. Your doctor's answer is a carefully answered correct. Although there hasn't been much studies showing the long term effects, that's not to say they should be avoided. Out of every test result I've seen from both sides of the spectrum, NONE indicate it's worse off than cigarettes. And even if they find some un-fortold hazards to ecigs (which I honestly doubt they will), Switching to Ecigs will make it easier to stop all together if you choose to go that route.

Welcome to the forums. I've found this to bet he best source for advice, and answers. No matter how trivial or in depth your question is, I am sure you can find the solution or answer two whatever you're looking for by asking on this forum. Just don't be too scared to ask.
