Hey friends my names Surai and I've been trying to quit smoking for a while now with not much success. I got a e cigarette yesterday and only smoked one normal cigarette so far, quite a reduction compared to what I have smoked.
I'm using a 510 tank model from Mirage Cigarettes, the Apollo. I'm quite happy with the product the battery is low capacity but it seems to last quite long as I'm not constantly sucking on it. The e liquid supplied with it tastes very good, Oasis tobacco, very light flavour, smells like a fresh packet of smokes combined with brown rice. Quite a subtle throat hit I direct inhale, no flavour or smell on the inhale but a light taste on the exhale, smoky almost like a Silk cut but with a nice almost refreshing chemical aftertaste. Can't wait to sample other flavours.
I've been reading some topics here, so much information, I don't like to post much but do have a few questions. One is regarding tank top up, does the liquid need to remain at a certain level? I wonder because I assume a lower level might damage the atomiser as the wick isn't submerged fully.
Well friends have a nice day.

Welcome! I have been vaping for 2 weeks now. And, I have not had an analog smoke in 7 days! That is huge for me.

I have the eGo-T and I keep the e-juice level topped off as much as I can. At first I did not know to do this although I -thankfully - never let the tank get bone dry either. Now, when my tank is about 1/2 full I go ahead and top it off. I think the flavor is better too keeping the tank filled up.

I am blowing out my atty 2 x a day too. I get a burnt taste after doing this. I'm thinking I may need to prime the atty with a drop or two of e-juice. If I do add a drop or two of e-juice do I do that to the battery side or the wick?

I ordered 3 eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers today from MadVapes. I hope they are as easy to use as folks on this forum suggest!

Vaping is great. It's a trial-and-learn experience so keep the faith. I can't believe I am not climbing the walls without the analogs. Who KNEW!?!

Hi, yeah I assumed as the wick wasn't submerged in the liquid because it protrudes a little it wouldn't be picked up, hence doing some damage to the atty.
If you're going to prime the atty by dripping it would have to be on the wick side, maybe a danger of shorting the battery. I think it would be enough to just top the tank and leave it for a few minutes, although I did see a video where the person suggested you take 3 short inhales without pressing power if you use a fresh atty.
Have you had any leaks? I left mine in my bag with it bouncing around with nothing but after looking at the battery and air holes I might unscrew the atty next time.

hello and welcome to the forum Surai!
I started my true ecig journey with the tank system-i have since moved on because it wasn't for me-
in fact, i made a post not long ago saying how i cringe when people start with the tank, regardless...
(sorry if this was already said, my brain is not registering perfectly this morning)
-Sometimes spinning the mouthpiece 180 can make sure that nothing is obstructing the wicking spike going into the tank
-3 to 4 good priming toots without firing the button helps when you throw on a new tank after blowing out an atty
-sometimes, just to get the thing to wick, a priming toot or two(without firing)helps get the juice into the atty
-flavour will sometimes be lower than normal...i don't know why
-fill the tank only about 3/4th up, well, at least not completely full to leave a little air bubble in there, helps with the wicking and to not overflow

Also, you can pretty much vape the tank dry, i always just watched the tank, if it was near empty i would top it off.
