Oh dear, don't say that. my gf already thinks I spend too much on RC planes, if I really get into this I am doomed lol
Just some unsolicited advice... first, you are younger than me but we both smoked 41 years. I assume you are at the point where you don't need me to tell you that you need to quit the smokes, for good, and sooner than later.

You apparently successfully fully quit, at least for a few days, right off the bat. I can tell you, with two parts experience and 4 parts what I read here from others (that had the same experience I did) that if you do relapse, it will very likely be very much more difficult the second time around. If you can quit once and done, there may be a lot less pain than if you do two or more rounds.

So... a lot of this is will power and the motivation to really quit, and for more than a week or a month. The other part, though, is making :censored: sure you never, ever don't have at least one working vape. The money does not matter and your GF should be more than willing to forgo a pair of shoes or two to make sure you stay quit.

/end of unsolicited advice

Thank you for your very welcome advice :) TBH I do not even crave or want a stinkie. I am more then happy to sit in my little cloud of smoke and vape and get my nic hit this way.

Right now I got 2 e-cigs and both full of juice. I think I might go out and buy 2 more batts and K1's just to be safe.

As for the gf comment I was joking, that woman wants nothing more then the both of us quitting and being healthy for a change :)

Welcome from a 65 year old fellow Canuck trying to endure another month of our winter before my annual pilgrimage south. I was a 2 carton a week smoker for 50 years and quit instantly almost a year ago when I started vaping. I had no intent on quitting I just didn't want to sit in the cold car to smoke when I was visiting my grandkids, Both my sons said I could vape in their homes and they have been obliging ever since. I've still got 3 cartons of cigs in the garage that I might try and extract the nicotine out of. I have gotten into making my own juice. I've tried some Dvine juice their RY4 was decent but some others were not very good.
Vaping has become a hobby for me which it has for many on this forum.
In the beginning you might find it a lot more work than smoking and sometimes it can seem like a PITA. Charging the batteries, dry hits, coils going bad, tanks busting in your pant pocket and juice leaking all over are just things that happen and I have no thought of smoking again.
Have a lot of backup rigs so you have no excuse to go back on the cigs.
Check out your local vaping community in the shops and I'm sure Montreal vapers probably have a Facebook group. And if you ever get into DIY juicing COOP Coco right in Montreal is where I get my VG.
Good luck on your journey in this new lifestyle.
