Hello and istick 50w question

Hello everyone. Been a long time lurker and just made an account. Hoping someone can help me out. But I think I know the answer.

Been using my istick 50w and subtank nano since Monday. Today I went to go outside and take a pull, nothing. No led display. Nothing. I have done what I could to no avail. Hit the fire button five times, several times. Held down the lock buttons. I plugged it in when I went to lunch. Battery was warm when I returned. But still no luck turning it on.


Am I missing anything obvious. Is there a way to lock off?

hi Dythuger. I have no idea. Only thing I could imagine is the tank has shorted or something like that. Have you tried it without the tank on?

Unfortunately, the 50W isticks have had many problems, including complete failures like yours might have - I've read that as much as 20% have issues.

Can you return it to wherever you bought it?

I have tried with no tank and a nautilus mini. No go. Even put the kanger on my 20 watt and it picked it up. Obviously wouldn't fire though.

I emailed the company I bought it from. Small mom and pop shop in WI that I mail ordered from. I really hope they honor a return. I waited a long time to purchase this and was obviously expecting More than one day of use.

That Subtank is no joke. Too much for all day use for me personally. Looking forward to trying the 1.2 ohm coil. That may be my sweet spot.

Nope, no joke at all. I use the 1.2ohms, that's enough for me.

I put that 1.2 on my 20w. Just about perfect. I don't get that heavy crackling I did on the .5.

Anybody foresee an issue of me running 75%vg with the 1.2ohm? I bought it for the .5 but who knows when I'll be able to fire that again.

I returner mine to local b&m same afternoon as it would not fire after using only twice. Owner grudgingly swapped for another and then advised me not to play with the buttons too much - cheeky ........ Anyways not surprised to hear of 20% failure rate. Then again PBusardo eleaf factory video showed loads of quality control going on, maybe that was just for the cameras though
