Hey all, new here, smoked a pack to 2 packs a day for almost 30 years and decides to give vaping a shot, aint had a smoke now in over 2 months and I'm down to zero nicotine ejuice. Been thinking about making my own e-juice and had some questions about Propylene Glycol & Vegetable Glycerine suppliers. I search on Amazon and found Froggys Fog
and they carry a quart of 99.7% pure USP grade Vegetable Glycerine for only 14.95......

Amazon.com: Vegetable Glycerine Kosher USP - 1 Quart (32 Oz.): Everything Else

And quarts of 99.9% pure USP Food Grade Propylene Glycol also for 14.95.........

Amazon.com: Propylene Glycol - Food Grade USP - 1 Quart (32 Oz.): Everything Else

Is there any reason that these wont be any good for making my own ejuice? I seen a thread on the matter from years ago but never did see a definite answer on the matter or no one responding that they use it. And beings I cant post any where but in thsi thread as a new user I was wondering what others thought.........

Any Opinions??? Thanks!

Prices are a bit high but they'll work just fine.
A gallon of either can be had for ~$20 if you look around.

Not sure I'd use the fog machine stuff since it's probably not USP grade. It's probably also got water in it to make the fog, thus making it thinner and weaker.

Walmart has VG and Tractor Supply carries the PG. Not sure of the prices of the VG at Walmart but the PG at Tractor Supply is close to the $20/gal that I mentioned.

I picked up some stuff off the internet @$20/ 1/2 gal (pharmaceutical supply co) but found places cheaper and still the same stuff. As long as it's USP it should be fine.

Its definitely USP grade at least that's what they advertise on Amazon, check the link in my original post. Hmmm, never would have thought of tractor Supply! LOL!

Saw the links and that they are USP, just overpriced. I was referencing the fog machine stuff and that it's more industrial grade and not pharmaceutical grade.

I just bought my PG on Amazon and it came from Froggers Fog.It says right on the label USP Food Grade. It also says for use in making e juice for e cigs. The VG I use comes from WAL MART though.Froggers Fog supplies it for use in the fog machines too.I know it's more expensive but after having a problem with my CC I didn't want to use any sources I wasn't sure of.

Took a trip to Tractor Supply today but forgot it was Easter and they were closed, then went to CVS and WallyWorld looking for Vegetable Glycerine but all I got was a headache as I couldn't find it anywhere. Checked here one last time a lil while ago and read that Wallmart sells thier VG for $4 for 4oz or otherwise a dollar an ounce, kinda expensive if you ask me. Finally just wound up buying the stuff off Amazon as 32 oz at Wallmart would have ran me $32 + tax, I only paid $29.90 total for both the 32oz (1qt) of VG & PG w/ free shipping. Might have saved a few bucks a tractor supply but basically got the PG free anyway vs buying the VG at Wallmart and was tired of searching and just wanted to order the dang stuff and get it over with.
