I gotta say, from a purely aesthetic standpoint, I love it....it reminds me of a light saber hilt

I don't know, without using it, if I'd like not having an oled/led display, and I like my Ti modes, but I may need one anyways

Can't tell you a thing about the build quality of the tube, but Heatvape uses the Rayn board in their temp control mods, and those have performed fairly well, even the early ones from before CNY, give or take a few failures.

It's accurate, has real step-down to 1w in VW, but it can be a bit hard on batteries and has a 1 second after sleep wake delay on the ones I own (though it takes nearly an hour for it to sleep, so it's not a constant annoyance).

All in all, the Rayn is a pretty solid DNA40 clone board, with all the downsides of a DNA40 as well (and no atty lock either).

I'm assuming this one will use a different board......if you notice, it has no display, instead it uses various LED lights to indicate status and temp/wattage (of which you have preset increments). Probably made by the same people though

I think the aesthetics are awful but the presets are the real deal breaker.

Another pre-order. Still seems a bit pricey for what it is (says the guy who has spent over $130 for a metal tube and magnets).
