Hi all,

I have been browsing this forum for a few days and am a new user to vaping.

I have purchased the Joye 510 starter kit and some 24 mg Camel juice (PG based).

I have beeing using the ecig on and off for about 2 weeks. I love it and think that it is my best chance of being able to finally quit smoking. There is one problem though. I tend to feel lightheaded for up to several hours everytime I use my ecig (I use it sparingly only having the odd drag here or there).

I have since ordered some lower dosage (10mg) elquids that will hopefully be arriving wihin the next ew days. I also ordered the Platinum ice mixing kit from totally wicked to see if going VG will help (plus I like the idea of being able to experiment with my own dosages/flavours) but I only ordered it today so could take awhile to arrive.

I wanted to post this in the medical forum, but as a nublet I am not allowed to do so. So hopefully someone here can help out :)

I dont mind a bit of lightheadedness, but the fact that it persists for so long after each drag has me a bit concerned (I often feel slightly 'stoned' for several hours)

I am currently taking Warfren/coumadin (although will be off it within the ext month or so). It's a very fickle drug that interacts unfavourably with many different things. You have to be careful with your diet etc. I did some research on the net to see if there were any unwanted interactions between PG and Coumadin but didnt find anything significant. Does anyone else here take blood thinners and vape? if so do you experience lightheadedness?

I have three theories going atm:
1. slight allergy to PG (in whcih case moving to VG should help)
2. my nicotein dosage in the eliquid is too high (current liquid is 24 mg - I usually only smoke 1mg cigs)
3. Interaciton with Coumadin

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks :)

Yes, this sounds more pharmacological than allergenic to me. At 24mg in combination with blood thinners, you are likely getting a bigger nicotine ratio to your bloodstream than someone who isn't on Coumadin. You will probably be fine going to about half that strength.

Once you get the new juice and give it a whirl, definitely let us know your reaction to it.

I totally agree with Ivisi. The blood thinner is going to lead to a bigger nic impact...and 24 mg is way too high for me, and I'm not on a blood thinner. You may find that 11 mg is still too high, but if so, then you can easily dilute it more with VG, which you can get at a drug store or I get mine at Whole Foods, Heritage brand, and then add your own flavors.

This sounds actually like good news to me, as you will be able to vape for a lot cheaper than most here. You will likely need to get into DIY so you can fine tune your juices, as it sounds like you will be rather sensitive to nic amounts.

And most of the tobacco flavors didn't do anything for me either. I prefer the caramel/toffee flavors.
