I haven't viewed any of the twitter vids yet, as they don't render in my primary browser, but that last guy had a real decent question, but he (Rep. Fry, a small suit I guess) let the guy in a bigger (probably way more costly too..) suit backout of actually answering because he (Fry) specified a particular # of cigarettes, and only a 'handful' of vape products. Who knows, maybe he's just trying to get a nicer suit..
It's delusional to believe the illicit market won't grow when some adults can still buy the products when others cannot. It’s true that the duty gap (an illicit market indicator) did decrease in the UK since 2005, but they ignore the fact that the smoke-free products that they also want banned were available as alternatives to illicit cigarettes in that period. What happens when those are banned, too?

Some Kentucky retailers have filed a lawsuit over the House Bill 11, calling it “unconstitutional.”
“The vaping panic is confirmation that ‘public health’ often doesn’t have much to do with health at all. A proper assessment of the evidence would conclude that vaping has been a massive success story, providing a safer alternative to cigarettes. The World Health Organization says that the Global Adult Tobacco Survey Indonesia 2021 shows 3% of that population is using low-risk vaping products instead of smoking deadly cigarettes, "indicating a pressing need for regulatory actions" against e-cigarettes.
However, what they don't bother to mention is that the very same survey also found a whopping 33.5% of Indonesian adults still SMOKED.
