Having problems with my Joyetech eVic uploading vape data. Help!

So here's what I'm experiencing. I plug in the eVic via USB cable to my PC. The eVic says "Charging/Uploading." When I open the joyetech MVR and click "Get Data From ecig" it progress bar stops at 2% and I get a read record of 0.

I have been able to upload data before. Perhaps this is a firmware issue? I'm currently running 1.4. Has anyone else experienced this with their eVic?

welcome to ECF KXCL ... I just plugged mine in for the first time since Oct. 4th ... everything is working fine.

When I bought it, it was on v1.3 and I updated to v1.4 on the last plugin Oct. 4 ... sorry I couldn't help.

Sorry I can't help you either but I did hear a rumor that a future evic will be MP3 compatible as the chip it uses already has the capabilities and the firmware can support it but is not unlocked until current sales slow down and they figure out where to put the earbud jack

vaping hardware is starting to resemble cell phone sales strategies' - make a fancy, fiddly upgrade every 3 months to suck every possible dollar out of people

Thanks. I'm going to try downgrading and then upgrading the firmware to see if that helps.
