Ordered a DNA 30 from a group buy for $43.00 free shipping. (Black only)

Loved it so much I ordered a blue one for $47.42 with a 10% off coupon code (FCVAPINGCHEAP ) for $44.64 free shipping

Great devise, build quality is better than I excepted, inside and out. Batter life is good with a old 18650 battery. Vapes like a dream.
Instant wakeup just press the power button. Finnish appears to be durable, and no finger prints. Ohm's checker is spot on.

I was going to get the one from FT and at the last minute decided to get this one for a few $ less. Glad I did. From what I have read on the ecf forum the chip is better on this one, only time will tell.

Iam thinking about switching my order or asking anyways from a dna 30 clone with no battery to the dna 20/mini from FT. I like power but also portability. Can you pocket the dna30 ver? What about the 20 ver? I do like the no built battery version i ordered so i can put in my own battery . iam a little indecisive

Also what is the diff between the dna 30 clone battery built in vs no battery? Cant u just easily swap the battery on either. Just diff is you may get the non battery version shipped faster?

DNA without battery will get out of the country (China customs) faster (regardless of shipping method) as it does not have a battery. Get an 18650 from a reputable seller and carry on. If you asking about the mini with the built in battery, they do have replacement battery packs that you can change yourself, once you have reached the life of the battery.

The full size with included 18650 is an ok battery for most vapers, however if you plan on pushing the sub-ohm limits of the board, the included battery is the weak link. Not sure how well the mini battery is for sub-ohm.

The full sized ones that FastTech was offering with battery came with the Efest 2500mah 35A version. That's a somewhat misleading rating since the 35A is the pulse rating and for vape purposes the continuous rating (20A) is used. So its a still a pretty decent battery and usable within the range of acceptable resistances but you wouldn't want to go any lower. The mini version with battery offered by FastTech doesn't use the standard IMR lithium battery but has a pair of LiPO batteries inside. From what I've seen in comments they seem to last longer than you'd expect a 1200 mah IMR battery but there's no info on their discharge current capacity so no info whether they're safe for any range of sub ohm. The Focalecig versions, both regular size and mini, are designed to take a IMR battery supplied by the user, 18650 for full, 18500 for mini. Since the best 18500 I've seen is a 10A battery, that'd be safe down to around 0.5 ohm in a mechanical. No idea how the circuitry effects that number.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you know it's fake?

Which battery are you planning to use for it now?

The bottom of the battery isn't flat. Look at this on the Sony. I have 5 real Efest here so I noticed. I do use the real Efest ones as I'm not coming close to the 20A limit (though Efest says they are 35A).
How to spot a fake Sony VTC5 battery

The purple Efest should also have a flat bottom like the Sonys do. My fake Efest has the same type of bottom as the fakee Sony in that link.

Guys i finally got my Hana Modz 30 w , v3 clone from FT today. My 1st variable watt battery. Man i love it already even the lucky 788 number on it lol. It provides beast power and i can't even go over 9W using the Nautilus Mini bvc right now.

I bought the non attached battery version for faster shipping and bought a reliable Sony VTC4 where i live to pair with it. Takes less than an hour to have it fully charged up and i'm going to love not charging "ego" style batteries on a daily basis. Highly recommend this mod with a decent battery like the VTC4

Thanks man. I was thinking of getting it when it first came out but glad i waited until the V3 came out. More kinks and other things figured out.

Fits my hand great(mini version i felt was too small and awkward feeling in my hand. My pinky can't grip it). Also my nautilus mini bvc fits flush

Im vaping more now bc of this mod

There was a lot of talk about the FT coming with a fake Efest in the beginning but it turned out to be untrue . Despite it's false look it's legit , lots of guys using them with zero issues.
Even if the battery was legit i wouldnt get it bc of the long shipping wait.

I do see now they have a hana mod without the logo, 50w?

Do ppl really use that much power??

20w seems alot already

The overwhelming majority who i know that have high wattage devices by it for the dual batteries not the wattage. Most admit they vape under 30 watts.

How long does the battery Sony VTC4 last on these things?

I have to charge mine after the day ends. Vape at around 12 watts. Man i thought these batteries wouldn't have to be charged for a few days
