Man this stuff is good. My favorite VC I have ever vaped. Here is my acquisition tale:

I was up at 2:30am on the morning of the 28th and decided to email Grant and asked him how I can grab a 100 ml bottle of 6mg regular vg. He emailed me right back. I'm Central time so he is 6 hours ahead BST time. He asked me if I was at my computer and if I was to type NOW and he would release my bottle into the system. I wrote him back NOW and went to his website and started refreshing and refreshing and refreshing like I have done a hundred times before, on off times, and still nothing...........I wrote him back and he responded that some bloak in California named Frank got my bottle...lol. my quest continued. It was nearing 3 AM and I wrote him NOW again, went to his site and clicked for my bottle and SHAZZZAM...I am in. I ordered and paid and waited. Grant was excellent by email. A really nice, funny guy. He likes his emoticons and called me "sport" about 10 times. It was a fun venture.

Fast forward to the day before yesterday and in my vape mail is a usps you have a registered envelope from Britan! So Saturday I pick up my package and it's my bottle in perfect condition from across the pond.

Grant says to vape this at 1.8ohms so I loaded up my Nautilus on my Clopper and man is this stuff smooth. It is not overpowering at all. It is almost perfect. The vanilla is subtle and the custard is rich and creamy and the blend of the two is really really nice. The nasal exhale is rich and so tasty. I could not resist so I put it in my Odin on a dual .3 build and really enjoy that as well. It does get a little peppery when you char the juice but quick Burst REO firing is really good. Vapor is really a mouthful as well and great mouth feel.

Whoever said that Grants is simply VC and DDL could not be more wrong or the vanilla he uses is his extraction. It has to be.

I have mixed Cap VC at 20, 15, 12 and 7 an added 1, 1.5 and 2% DDL and cannot come close to Grants juice. I was really surprised at how subtle it is. Other Custard mixes I have tried are good but not like Grants.

Anyway, I plan on using it gingerly and see how it develops over the months. In conclusion, I highly recommend this juice if you have the time to go through the process to get your hands on a bottle. I think it is well worth it. Here is a pic.

I picked up a 100ml bottle of the high vg blend. I'm wondering if I should have tried this before Vader Puddin cause the VP has it beat on all accounts. My bottle is steeped and a nice rich brown colour and just has no flavor next to the Vader. I also find the Vader smoother and more velvety. Gunna get rid of the grants!

    IMO,

Grants is the baseline by which any and all straight up custards are measured. For my tastes anyway.

Grants has become my #1. I DONT have an all day vape.. I think the concept is silly.. there is world of liquid out there, try as much as possible. But, if i was forced to vape one liquid only.. While it would be a tough call between GVC and a couple others, GVC would win.

It just hits each flavor note properly, without tasting funky. I mean thats it, the beauty is the simplicity. Its got a smooth vanilla note and a rich egg cream note, and thats it. there is no weird tastes or anything added that shouldnt be there. Its simply Vanilla Custard done right.

Im a chef by trade, and my personal opinion, GVC is the CLOSEST eliquid to a perfectly made Creme Anglaise out there. If you're looking for a Creme Brulee, GVC doesn't have the carmelized notes. If you're looking for the pudding type custard, like in an Eclair*, thats not what GVC tastes like.

GVC is the best vanilla custard. I have tried a lot, probably more than I could convince you of. Does this mean I think other custards are garbo? Not at all. Just that I think GVC is the best.

*If you ARE looking for the type of custard found inside an Eclair, or a Boston Creme donut, I would highly suggest Indulge by Classified. Take the chocolate smear off the top of an eclair, or the chocolate off the top of a Boston Creme Donut.. OR, exactly as its called, order a Layer cake, Yellow cake with vanilla pudding layered.. Thats what Indulge tastes like.

**People often tell those who are looking for but cannot find GVC, to go try Nicoticket's Custards Last Stand, Creme Brulee, or Frenilla. I got a lot of respect for the man who runs Nicoticket, he has shown me a level of customer service even I struggle to provide working the food industry. But I gotta be honest, Something about the way CLS and CB are made, makes it so that some people find it to be a flavor explosion, and others find it to be flavourless. I have bought multiple bottles, multiple times of both CLS and CB, and I personally taste just the hint of vanilla, barely there. On the CB, if its very fresh(unlike highly steeped, as suggested by the devout), I can taste the caramelized sugar. Ive had friends taste them, and a few are lke me, basically taste nothing, while others love them.

Frenilla is a different story, and I dont know why. Its not a GVC replacement, but it is a wicked good vanilla. NOT custard, its sweeter and crisper than a vanilla custard.. Its just a french vanilla. In the world of Vanilla vapes, custard or otherwise, Frenilla ranks up near the very top. the closest food item I would compare it too, would be french vanilla GELATO. Because ice cream would be too rich. but you get the idea. Awesome vanilla without the egg custard or caramel notes.(P.S., when you go order from NT, get some Grandmas Cin. Danish. MY GOD.)

Nice write up Jman, I'm in the same boat (Chef by trade). I prefer my CLS fresh, the Vanilla (for ME) seems to diminish as it steeps at an alarming rate. My personal jury is out on the CB for another 2 weeks to see where the steep goes, although it has a richer hit for me. I believe Frenilla ends up winning because the egg is less present in the flavor profile and your palate has less to sort through...yes, think gelato and not frozen custard.

This is so accurate it is like I am writing it myself. I love grants and Bryces vanilla crème pudding. Have both at all times. Not ADV but close. Nicoticket just does not hit the mark for me at all.

Be careful. I found out the hard way that gvc can turn on you :(.

I imported 120ml of 18mg last March and I have filled a 3-5ml tank every week or so. I REALLY liked grants so I wanted to nurse the bottle.

I've always kept my juices sealed up in a dark cool place. I've kept the top tightly secured etc .

About 2 or 3 months ago I noticed that the bottle had gotten really dark and cloudy. I've tried to vape throu it but I find it completely nauseating. I believe the juice has oxidized and it's pretty much trash at this point :(.

Bit of a kick in the nuts after paying so much and trying to stretch it out.

Moral of the story is enjoy it while you can lol
