What do you guys think about building 20 gauge dual coils to be used on an iTaste VF?
I'm thinking about bying this gauge of kanthal and try it.
I watched a video on youtube and it seemed pretty easy.
I'm just wondering if they are too hard to wrap.
Does anyone have experienced it before?

Any suggestions are welcome, thank you already and have a nice day!

Editing: ! also bought 28 and 27 gauge of kanthal, but i really wanna try 20.

Your mod will be fine...your batteries maybe not. 4 wraps of 20 ga is gonna be like 0.04 ohms on a single coil, depending on your diameter. I don't really see why you'd do this as an all day build. If you're doing it just for clouds and experimentation, then make sure your batteries are safe. 20 ga is a pain in the .... Doing a center post build with it is challenging to say the least. I'd stick to 24 ga personally, and if you want more power do a parallel.

Parallels are an equal pain because they're hard to keep straight. 20ga is straight overkill. 26ga or 28ga is a good place to start, and if you're feeling extreme, like me, 24ga. The other problem with doing a super hot, low-ohm build is that with the chamber size of the vf, you'll be burning your lips a lot, and the heat will transfer straight down into your mod, making it harder to use. Please be safe and build above 0.15 ohms. Actually, scratch that, build above 0.25 if you don't want to burn yourself while vaping. And while you're worrying about safety, read Baditude's multitudes of blog posts on battery function and safety. You won't regret it.

Good luck with that (abomination of a) thing!

Hey, I personally use gplat 26gauge its super low ohm wire, I'm sure you heard of it. IMO its works really well in my drippers its super soft wire and it heats up very fast and cools down very fast. They also have what's called Hay wire its 20 gauge, but that's just crazy IMO. Maybe that helps, also I'm always safe when building using a ohm reader good batteries and I never build lower than .20, but that's just me. I also have a nemesis clone, and it works like a charm.

I dont think the post holes will be large enough to fit two strands of 20 ga through the center post anyways. that build sounds dangers as well.

I started using 26 guage, and eventually moved onto 24 and didnt like it, it took to long to heat up and cool down, I cant imagine how that would be with 20ga and with such a small chamber like the iTaste VF has.

Good Luck
