I got 2x 800ml, 2x 300ml and 4x 125ml, all with wide mouths for around $1 a piece. They are clear, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

when I freeze things in glass bottles/jars I put an old sock over them so they don't bump against each other and break/crack. I guess that would solve the "don't let light in" issue.

I know you all will call me crazy.. I have plenty of 15ml amber glass jars, but nothing larger.. except for my canning jars..

I went to Walmart and bought 2 packages of half-jelly jars, they look like this:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Ball-4-oz-Quilted-Crystal-Jelly-Jars-12-Pack/17203435

Approx 120ml each. I used them to mix my NETs in. Prepped my whole leaf tobacco, made a large quantity of 12 nic unflavored juice and poured the juice on the prepped leaves. Closed them up and left them in a closed closet for a long time.

I took the rest and stored my 500ml of 100nic in my freezer. Since they are crystal clear I wrapped each in a ziplock baggie and put a brown paper bag over each to keep the freezer light from getting to them.
(I really didn't want to make another order for more amber jars, I buy enough stuff for DIY projects)

I know jelly jars don't have the best sort of lids on them, not easy to open but it'll be safe enough if I wear gloves when I need to use them.

:vapor:

Plus when I am done using them I can always can strawberry jam in them after a few soaks and washes.

As someone who home cans a lot, I can tell you that the lids and rings on these jars do rust. In canning, we replace the lids every time we pack the jars (because the sealing surface becomes deformed after a heat process) and the rings can be re-used, but must be replaced when wear starts to show. I tell you this because rust is happening before you can actually see it.

Don't let your juice touch the lid and it will go better, I personally wouldn't use them to store juice, but you gave me an awesome idea, I can use them without lids for bulk mixing vats.
