Evolv DNA boards (chips) are all made in the US. However, complete mods that house these chips that are also made in the US are rare. Few kits can be purchased if you are OK with the DIY approach. Friendly Fire Mods is a US company that also uses DNA boards, do not know if their housing is made in the US or over seas, but these are Lipo based mods and quite large.

Outside Lost Vape and Dovpo (to name a few) out of China, there is a handful of European made DNA mods – but these mostly cater to the higher end genre of the vape industry and come with a hefty price tag.

Lost Vape is a Chinese brand, outside the use of an American made DNA board (for some of their products), their quality is pretty much on par with other good Chinese’s brands. Fit and finish is average but you get the functionality of a DNA. Their DNA based products are priced higher than the average device out of China

Geekvape is another quality Chinese brand. Their Aegis line has been quite popular and received an above average reception.

Smok….search for Smok within these forums, or any vaping forum for that matter. They are not well received and usually plagued with premature problems.

where might i find such a kit?

I’ve seen them in my travels but can’t recall any names. Try a Google search for DNA Kits.

I do know of Analog Box Mods out of Canada. They do ship to the US.

You could also try posing the question on the Evolv-ing thread

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Sil3nt

You state that you went from a 21700 mod (mod with a tank or RDA) to a pod/aio for simplicity.

But VW pod mods like the RPM80 are the same thing as a 510 mod except instead of a 510 threaded connection, it has proprietary connection which will only fit a proprietary clearomizer (aka a pod) instead.

So how is this simpler than a 510 mod with a 510 clearomizer (clearomizer defined as a tank that only takes factory coils, can't be rebuilt).
