Hello fellow ECF Vapers!

well im relatively new to e-cigs, but i feel like there is a natural order of evolution. something like:

cig-a-like -> ego battery -> vv/vw APV -> mech mod with low resistance rebuildable dripping atomizer.

I find this last part to be the most interesting and most customizable way to vape. now im reaching out for some start up advice on cheap easy devices and just general tips. as it is now im looking at these mods:

$23.24 Empire KeCig K100 Mechanical Rechargeable Electronic Cigarettes - blue / no battery at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$23.81 KTS Electronic Cigarette Battery Compartment at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

and these RBAs

$6.14 V5 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Detachable Dripping Atomizer - 1.0
Stainless Steel Phoenix Rebuildable Dual Coil (IGO-L Dual Coil) Atomizer - VaporBreak
Airflow Control Stainless Steel Rebuildable Phoenix V5 Atomizer For Dry Herb And e Liquid - VaporBreak

and i have these batteries

$10.51 Panasonic CGR18650CH Rechargeable 2250mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Batteries 2-pack - authentic cells / 2-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

looking to start cheap at first. am i heading in the right direction? thx

Assuming you have a battery charger, mesh and wire, sounds like a great setup to try it out. If you already have an APV, a mech isn't absolutely necessary for trying the RDA.

I'm about at that point in my vaping evolution, I am still torn between getting a non rebuildable dripper like an HH357, an RDA like the IGO-L or just kicking it off with an RSST RBA - after reading loads of reviews and watching a lot of youtube videos, reading on this forum, I think the RSST and maybe the bulldog are two of the easier RBAs to start with.

Maybe I'll just get all three... :D

Attybigger than mod.jpgGo with the K100 I have the K101 which is almost the same. Built very solid but it is aluminum. That other is brass which is a bit better of a conductor. I personally don't like Side knobs as they can hang up on something. They can also get broken off. The bottom button Mech's are damn hard to damage and most the whole base of it is also the safety lock. That is what the K100 and K101's use. For you atty I'd go either Protank/Puritank or Evod or if you want an RBA something like an RSST. I have an older AGA T on mine. With the small battery in my K101 it is actually smaller than the RBA. But if you put a Evod or a Rebuildable Drip atomizer on it you will have a stealth vape unit.

I have TEC bottom fire button mechanical and the Natural....
Really like the Natural...excellent fully mechanical mod, solid and inexpensive- great with the Smok Tec octopus RDA.:D
(Never had the side button hang up on anything...like that it's in the pinky finger location !)
Really hate the TEC...you have to lock the fire button to set the mod down...a drag-and not in a good way !
YMMV- :vapor:

I glad i didnt change the spring in my Natural,at first i thought it was too stiff, but after a few days it really got easy to push, they did a good job on that firing button, its sleek and has a low profile, the button the GG sticks out way too far and im not a big fan the the bottom buttons anymore, they break easy with one drop and if the button does get bent or breakmwhich i doubt, you can easily make a new one.
