OK, I've been working on getting a buzz out of my nicotine. Here's what is sorta working.

I've started out with approx 26mg liquid, which I have a lot of. Stronger would work better.

First, I find if I take it STRAIGHT down, like I did with a cigarette, it works a whole lot better. To do this, I need to leave a gap between my lip and my e-cig to let in air, since the draw is too hard to get enough volume of air/vapor out of the E-cig to just breath in though it.

So, small gap to allow air to enter the mouth while taking a draw.

It may also be that this air/vapor mixture has some effect. Please let me know what you think.

Trick #2. Hold it in a long time.

I've found by doing both of these, I can just barely approach a nicotine buzz.

Why would you want a nicotine buzz? Seems like a waste of time to me, there are plenty of other means of getting buzzed, like the means I am using right now, Bud Light :D
You can get buzzed off Bud Light?
What is the alcohol content of that, 1.4% or something?

What do you have to drink, like 17 of them?
Drink a REAL beer for goodness sake.

Baby Jesus is crying right now.

I want a nicotine Buzz cuz I, like most here, miss it from my analog days.
I am always shocked to hear about this "nicotine buzz" which I never really got.
Maybe if I remember back 20 years I might remember such a thing.

But yeah, no, I'm not remembering it.
Cloves, on the other hand, I remember the buzz from those.

That's pretty ignorant. Most beers have standard 5% or more alcohol content with 4~5% for the fruity flavored beers.

Wine has more. I bet that's what you drink for a buzz. I'll drink the beer and leave the wine for ladies.

I've smoked cloves now for about 6 years. Cloves will provide a definite buzz...I've enjoyed the occasional whap upside the head I can get from vaping. It doesn't happen all the time but it makes me say "ahhhhh" when it does. I ditched my carts when I discovered how much better it is dripping and vaping without them.

We keep ourselves so habituated to nicotine that we fail to recognize just how buzzed we get. The most memorable nicotine buzz I've had was that first cigarette after having quit for 2 years. Wow, that was pure magic and I knew instantly what had been "missing" in my life. Took me over 6 months to fall completely off the wagon but I did some award-winning lying to myself to get there. It took many years to realize how hyped I stay on nicotine. When it's absent it feels like someone pulled the plug and all my energy drained out.

Really, you think I'm ignorant?

Just check into what the alcohol content is for light beers as opposed to real beers.
Good luck finding that information, because they don't want to tell you.

How do you think they reduce the calories?
By reducing the alcohol.

And yes, this is a serious issue for me and I consider myself a crusader in my efforts to enlighten.
You'll notice the beer companies don't tell you how much less alcohol is in light beer.
But yeah, just trust them, they think light beer is a freaking bonanza.

And yeah, if you want a real beer, they aren't hard to find.
They just aren't named Miller, Coors, or Budweiser.

And once again, Baby Jesus cries.

I miss nic buzz, I am almost over it now.... that 1st morning cig, or for me, when I had the first one after having a baby lol (quit while pregnant) Those were great. But ehh.. I am getting over it. I cannot go any higher than 18mg nic content because it makes me sickkkkkk, so I think I am about hopeless in the nic buzz department, and OP I know how it is to miss it, it's not the same as a beer buzz or anything either.

Oh, and there is nothing wrong with light beer thanks very much :) hehe

The only time I have ever had a nic buzz was when I smoked with the patch on or after having quit for day. Maybe I am a minority, but it was nothing spectacular, and I would rather be drunk than nicotine high :|

Nah, I used to smoke around two packs of Newport 100s and never got a buzz. Strange thing is, 18mg juice gives me a definite nic buzz. I have to cut it by half using VG so I don't get light headed. I'm afraid to think what 36mg would do to me 8-o

Yeah. That's really too much to get a buzz. I smoked just short of a pack a day, (maybe 3/4s of a pack most days,) of Maralboro reds for 11 years, since anyhting more then that would kill the buzz.

If I kept it at 3/4s a day, I could keep the buzz.

The only reason why you may feel that light beer has less alcohol is because (yes you are right) the dilution factor. The light beer companies utilize an enzyme called beta-amylase, as opposed to the heavier beer companies which use alpha-amylase. These enzymes break the sugar down into small and large sugars respectively. The smaller, or simple, the sugar, the more alcohol is released by hydrolyzing the glycosidic linkage.

In summary, light beers really contain more alcohol than heavy beers such as Guinness (until it's diluted).

Loved the class. I would take it again if I could.

Also, here is a link to all alcohol content, carbs, and calories for beer.

The trend i am seeing here is anyone that smoked more than a couple cigs an hour(over pack a day) never got this buzz, and i also saw that when I smoked. Its really about that first smoke of the day, that was my rainbow, the rest of the day i would spend chasing it but could never find it again. Though a cig after a meal was very comforting. I reach right for my PV after meals and get that feeling again.

I tried that technique you mentioned, I think you brought back the throat hit to my 901!
Though i think i should try this again after the nicotine flushes out o me body.
