I wonder what the Snickerdoodle would taste like in holiday whipped cream over real gingerbread or a Danish Str8? Or in your morning coffee? Could maybe use it in holiday baking if they are going to be rascals about it and not credit it for you.

Did you try the Sugar Cookie yet GoodDog?

Did the vet take care of you dog?
Yum.. REAL FOOD!!! Gonna go eat now...

My order came today too and they all say Soybean Oil in the ingredients except for Sugar Cookie. I talked to someone on the phone and explained what they are being used for and he assured me they were in PG NOT in oil!! I vaguely remember a thread quite awhile back where someone had the same problem and the woman that owns the company got really nasty with him. I'll try to find the thread. Too bad I didn't remember that before we ordered! That was a waste of money!!!!!
Im thinking that might be me....with candyflavor(dot)com. Hearing the reply's, and seeing the company address...Im inclined to think it might be the same ppl. The lady said she had a few different candy flavor stores. She was certifiable, for sure.

Iv been trying to talk to this lady on an off and she literally lies about everything . Shes telling me now that i didnt get charged 11.00 shipping either . Obviously i did and a bunch of other people here were ticked off about the 11.00 shipping as well . She also said im the only person to ever complain about the flavorings and that not one person in 30 years has said they were a oil . Also that PG is not water soluble and i dont know what im talking about . I got it backwards . lol

Thank you Seabrook and Bovinia. My poor dog had a blockage and has to have surgery for the remaining stones. He's scheduled to go to UC Davis on January 17th. I hope they don't pepper spray us! LOL Please keep my little guy in your prayers.

BigChief, wasn't it you that had a problem with this company last year. I remember someone saying that the woman was crazy and actually got the police involved because of her threats. Was it getsuckered that happened with?

I have an email in asking if the flavorings do in fact contain Lactic Acid or if it's just another labeling mistake. Daryl called me, probably because they didn't want anything in writing, but I wasn't home. Instead of calling him back I thought I would email him. We'll see what he says.

These flavorings really smell terrible. I can't imagine anyone using them to make candy!!

They really do smell terrible . The snickerdoodle may just be the worst smelling thing iv ever smelled in my life and im not joking . Its like a intense mildew/acid smell . I asked about the lactic acid and they said their lab has to use it to balance out the PG and there is no other way of using flavorings in PG without it .I asked them one question which they neglected to answer three times . They said that the flavoring i bought have never been made in a oil base . The label however says snickerdoodle and ingridiants state its a oil . They said they ran out of labels with PG on it . The question i asked is if you never made snickerdoodle in a oil then why do you have a oil label with snickerdoodle name on it ? lol .

I also meant to ask here . What could they have in that snickerdoodle flavoring for a couple drops of it in a plastic bowl of water to actually eat holes in the bowl after 12 hours . There must be a really strong acid i would think . Can lactic acid do that ? I put a drop in the water before i went to bed and when i woke up there were multiple burn holes in the bowl and nasty smelling liquid all over my counter .

Ps Get well Oliver !!

I made a small batch of German Chocolate Cake just to see if it was as bad as it smelled from the bottle. It tastes like some kind of solvent with not a hint of any flavor that I can detect. I wonder what they are a front for because they couldn't possibly be selling much of this crap! I just don't understand.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes. Oliver is my baby so I hope the surgery goes well.

i dont see how they are still in business either . I highly doubt they ever had a repeat customer on their flavorings . The name of their company had to be intention and not about candy i think .

I must be old, I can't read the list, print too small, lol.

Here's a little trick you may or may not know about.....hold down your control key (Ctrl) and scroll with your mouse. You can blow it up to the size you need to read or shrink it. Makes life much easier for those of us who have outgrown their eyes. lol

Here's the response I got back:

"Some of our PG flavors contain a small amount of Lactic Acid. Sugar cookie is not one of the PG flavors that contains Lactic Acid. So sorry about the label confusion. We are just about to approve the artwork for our new labels with more extensive ingredient labeling and are just using the rest of our Oil Flavor stock labels until the new labels are printed.

On the website we state the following:

Disclaimer: Our PG flavors may contain small amounts of Lactic Acid. You can request a flavor fact sheet from us for further details about the flavorings. Our flavors are formulated and approved for food ingredients. USP United States Pharmacopeia - standards of food ingredients. Any other applications of the flavors is done at customer’s own risk. *

· Click here for a good source to read about PG

We are in the process of enhancing the information for all flavors on our website to list if they contain Lactic Acid."

Looks like she never had a clue what was in her flavorings but now after my complaining is trying to learn . Heres a email i just got contradicting some stuff she said in previous emails

My lab informs me today that none of the five PG flavors you purchased from us contain Lactic Acid. I did some research today about PG (like I said, I am just the distributor/reseller not the manufacturer or a chemist) and found this link to be especially informative about vaping PG: What Is PG? | Guide To Vaping

And here, and a few other places I found them to say that PG processes into lactic acid in the body:

Cheap Cigarettes Sale - online source of cheap electronic cigarettes: JOYE 510, DSE 901, M4081, M88PCC: Marlboro, Winston, Camel ...

“In fact, when getting into body, PG is then processed into lactic acid that can produce muscle pain at initial stages. In these cases it is recommended to drink more water. It is considered not risky.”

I dont understand why its on the label saying lactic acid when theres none in there and she originally said her lab told her there was lactic acid in it . Then giving me info on lactic acid .

This was in a earlier email

My lab does not consider Lactic Acid to be a solvent, thus the statement that our flavors do not contain Solvents. My lab said this about the Lactic Acid in the PG Flavors we sell ” it's necessary to use Lactic Acid (which by the way, is in the formulation in very limited quantities), to give it a "sour" note and is used in flavors to lower the ph.”
