Hello and welcome to today's review of the single 18650 Aegis Solo III with the Z-Subohm tank. This latest version of the Aegis Solo has a feature that allows you to pocket carry without worry of the device's buttons to be activated unless held in a hand according to GEEKVAPE. It also has a manual locking feature as well as the touch sensing one. There 3 power modes plus it has a TC mode. It has other features that I'll cover later, you can customize the display screen with 5 different colors plus it comes with the performance proven Z-Sub-ohm tank. If you don't know by now the Aegis Solo devices have a IP rating and the Solo III has a IP68 rating ( dustproof- waterproof-shockproof ). I wont be going into great detail on the Z-Subohm Tank because I've covered it many times in past reviews, it's a winner for sure.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS


Opening the box I was impressed with the presentation of the mod with the transparent plastic showing the devices main feature. Apperance of this device is up there with past ones, the leather spine is soft and the device is a perfect fit for my hand.

Undernieth the device sits the Z-Subohm Tank and spares bag, 2nd coil, spare glass along with the owners manual and warning card. The silver Z-Tank is a perfect match for this mod coloration. Again ECF will not let me post some pictures on contents . I have had to downgrade these pictures.

The touch sence lock has worked for me but it has also failed by unlocking being touched with another device as well as other items that I can't post pictures of here ECF won't allow it, but I will tell you that I've carried this in my pocket for a couple of weeks and it has not burn't a coil.


The menu interface is a easy one to navagate as well as enter by pressing the fire button 3 times quickly. The display is pretty bright and vivid and font could be larger but they are usable. Again ECF will not allow be to post pictures of the screen shots for you.


FINAL IMPRESSIONS


I think this is a nice kit even though the touch protection is iffy but you can lock the buttons manually in the menu which again ECF WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO DO SO. The device is a great fit in the hand and the Z-Tank is a proven winner with great flavor and smooth airflow.
