I'm so confused by who makes the actual Aunthentic FUhattan ... I recently purchased a clone of the ameraclone a Fuhattan Carbon Fiber Copper mod v2.1 and I LOVE it! I knew I was buying a cloned clone (lol) but I loved the design .. ("F*** Y**" spelled out in a middle finger...sweet.) but now I'd like the authentic version of the FUhattan... i was told that acerig makes the authentic ones... Is this true? If not, Does anyone know where I can find an authentic one?

There's a story behind the Fuhattan....

Ameravape came out with a mod called the Manhattan. When reviewed by a popular reviewer, He noted there were no holes in the tube, and said something like: I don't see any holes, and when I blow into it, I don't hear anything come out, if it were to vent like this, it might be a pipe bomb, please let me know if I am wrong.. something like that. Ameravape pretty much told him to take down his review or be sued.. That caused some bad karma in the vape industry against Ameravape.
Also, around the same time, companies were cloning the Ameravape's Manhattan mod. They tried to sue any company that copied their mod.. not only that, they came out with the "Notaclone" hashtags and were preaching all about how bad clones were. Of course, on their website, they used to use clones all the time, and would post pics of themselves vaping cloned atomizers, gear, etc... Again, this caused even more bad Karma.

Well I guess a company came out called Ameraclone, and they made the FUhattan as a response to all the bad karma. Ameraclone made their boxes resemble Ameravape, and.. well, you see their reply.

Now, whether or not it's a clone or not, or if it's ethical, that's a personal choice. In either case, it's my opinion, and many other's opinion, that Ameravape went about it all wrong. Do a google search for Ameravape and Todd for how the whole thing went down. :)

Wow, thanks! I'm actually familiar with the back story. But I really appreciate it! :)
My question is probably very confusing because, well, I'm confused...lol.
I'm looking for an "authentic Ameraclone" not a clone of the clone... There are several different ones and because it's already a clone of the Manhattan, the description usually says "clone" somewhere... I've read several different feeds on here and on ................. but I can't seem to find an accurate description of what is really an Ameraclone 1:1 Manhattan clone, designed by Thomas Gast & Graham Vickers....does it only have the 1:1stamp at the bottom or the Micky mouse middle finger? Are they now being manufactured by acerig? ...oh I don't know anymore...lol. I just don't want a "pipe bomb"
