Freebase eliquids in pod systems, and salt nics in vape mods. Is it okay to do?

I use a lower nic in my aspire Breeze but the coil is 0.6ohms. I tried 24mg nic salt in my skystar and it made me cough. I haven't tried the nic salt in any of my other mods. I think it can be done and the only reason the skystar made me cough is that thin radial coil it uses.

Freebase and salt nic can be used equally well in any system provided you like the results. Advertising that a system is designed specifically for one or the other is purely a marketing gimmick. The only thing approaching a real difference is that pod systems tend to deliver a small amount of ejuice per puff, so people tend to prefer higher nic levels. Other vape systems tend to deliver more juice per vape, so people usually choose lower nicotine levels.

Short version: If salt nic in your vape or freebase in your pod works for you, there's absolutely no reason not to use it.
