Hello everyone! I ordered a pack of 2.6-2.8ohm XL Green Fluxomizers and 1 3.5ml 2.8-3.0ohm Vision Extreme. I use 100% VG juice. I normally use Boge cartos in tanks.

1. How should I prep these before I use them?

2. I'll be using them on an Infinity Pro. At what voltages do they perform best?

3. Any tips or tricks I should know about?

Thank you!

Take all three seals out. The inner seal is the most difficult to remove. Do not touch the wick when removing the inner seal. Do not reinsert the inner seal. Use the middle oring as the new inner. Place it in the fluxo flat side down. Finish the mod by inserting either the outer seal or a drip tip into the tube. No leaks, no burnt taste, and awesome vape. If it gets dry, just turn it upside down.

I personally noticed when using heavily VG biased juice in a Fluxo I got a burnt taste when the juice level dropped below half full. When turned upside down for a few secs this goes away. Repeat as necessary or just keep the Fluxo full at all times. With my current juice at 75PG/25VG there are no such issues. My Fluxos are all modded before use as Mike just described.

On voltage, I always start mine out at about 3.5 to 4 volts for the first few toots. Gives them a little time to start breaking in; the Visions will take longer to break in than the fluxos. After that, start cranking them up to discover what you like and how they work. Too high, they'll taste burnt, just turn it back down a little. Higher voltages may require you to wait a few seconds between toots just to let the wicking catch up. Taking your toot horizontally also helps keep the wicks real wet, kinda like the tipping upside down tip above. About 6 to 8 watts is usually ideal for me; have some juices that will let me take them up to 10 watts or so for a short time.

The Fluxos usually do need a little fiddling with before you use them, but the Visions are pretty much "fill and vape." I haven't used the 3.5 mL ones, but the Nanos and Micros are great. Sometimes you might get a mouthpiece that doesn't seal quite as well (at least for Nanos and Micros), but I make it a point to save EVERYTHING, so if I get a mouthpiece that's a little loose I just grab a good one from a previous Vision and swap them out.
