I've been playing with FA Blackcurrant flavoring. My goal was a candy flavor like blackcurrant gummies, and I've read this is a very accurate flavoring. Plain, it did taste like fresh blackcurrants - but I don't like them fresh. They taste sour and somewhat "green" to me, just like this flavoring did at first. My mixing session ended with a great vape, though.

I mixed a tiny sample at 2%, but that wasn't strong enough and actually tasted bad to me. Went to 3%, which was strong enough but sour, not the flavor I want. You'd think I'd add sweetener, but I added 1% FA Raspberry to try a combination instead. It was starting to taste like those black and red, raspberry-shaped gummy candy.

My shortie cartomizer was tasting funky, and I was bored with mixing, so I poured the rest of the sample into my Protank that still had an earlier (failed) experiment in it. The failed experiment was lemon cookies, so I figured it wouldn't be too bad.

This is just great! WAY better than my failed lemon cookies and way better than my blackcurrant mixes! But my lemon notes just list the flavorings and no percents. SO....I have a delicious tank for today that I'll probably never quite duplicate. This is sweet, fruity, and bright. I think lemon was the secret, but can't know for sure.

I've come up with some interesting mixes by mixing and matching. Can't really say I would want to duplicate them though:)
