All righty then, Hey guys, just found this thread and hopefully can help and or answer any questions.
I'm dice, and according to Artur, am the first state side owner of the flashi V2. My current build is 0.40 ohms, tension wrapped around ~1/8" mandrel but with loops touching just like a micro coil. using 22 gage, but started with 28 gage, 9 months ago, was using a Provari at the time.. Now I have moved on to Mechs and high amp regulated, vape ranges from mid 40's to upper 90's. Think I've found my upper level of an enjoyable vape finally
Depending on your build ohms, and the watts one pushes that build at will determine how you want to make your tank wicks. but think I found the best solution for all build and watt ranges and level of vapers. Least this is the best Fraking consistent tank wicking I've come up with.
I use a genesis wick. Yep, that simple. Took a genie wick I had saved, was just a tad to big for the holes, so twisted it up I little bit tighter, slipped it into the wick hole and pushed gently into the build wick, sniped it off just a tad above deck level. flip the left over piece over and repeat. With the genie wick left over's, just torch them good to re-oxidize the cut ends, and you have enough for another flashi
After snipping it off, be sure to squeeze the mesh back to round for best fluid dynamics.
For me, the flashi loves big coils. ~1/8" a bit under, works great. Mine barely clears the underside of the drip dome. After wrapping the coil, I bend the legs straight in line with the wrapping mandrel with both ends on the under side of the coil.
Currently use Ramie fiber, but cotton and hemp fiber works well also. Regardless of fiber used, I'll use a length long enough so that each end can be tucked down into the bottom of the juice deck and tucked under the build, touching the other side, kind of like a pretzel or figure 8.
When building an rba, I try to utilize all the space provide, using every bit of it. My coil fills all the space between the posts offering the largest wick to coil ratio possible. During my vape journey I've been building on the theory that this is a good idea. Seems to have worked well so far.
Have also started using wide bore drip tips. These things are purrfect for the flashi. Bought them at
Fat Daddy's This like way opens the flow. With the SS BIG BAD SUM-A-GUN, I'll use a 1/16" air screw, least think that's what I drilled it with

with the glass one, no screw works well when vaping over 50 watts, it's bore's a bit smaller. but with this build and drip tips, fraking flashi blows damn near everything away in every single category. and on the stingrays, look damn sexy. Also, when heavy chain vaping, even when the flashi gets a tad warm, both the glass and SS wide bores stay ohh so cool.
Oh, yeah, this bada, Buildable Automatic Dripping Atomizer, is one of the most under appreciated systems around. It's a great dripper and tank. Think its the only rba that I've owned, that the first build was so damn good, I didn't mess with it for a month.
Sorry for the length of the post and everything, but some troll posted on the
Flash-e-Vapor V2 thread, asking for assistance, and I try to cover all the bases and questions when responding. Initially was going to do respond to "reply with quotes", but decide to answer all the questions without the damn quote chit, fraking long enough as is

The V2 & V3 are exactly the same in all the important area's. Did notice Artur sells just the bases, have been thinking of getting it, and using the Ehpro tanks on it. Have it and the FT version, the Ehpro's base prove defective, and the replacement too, but the tank & drip cap are compatible with the authentic. So, could have a mostly authentic V3 for less than half the price
The Flashi had been on the back burner lately, been playing with the Rose2, and got pizzed at the Orchid, and, and, and my Aqua had a melt down when a damn clone switch locked firing for 3 minute while in the other room, and was wanting just a great vape while waiting for the Erlkonigin to arrive from Austria, decided to do a SuperMax build on the Flashi, and Woough Frak Me Vape Man, it's flashi love all over again.
Love all my gear, but the flashi remains in the top of my favorite things, oh damn, now have gone and done it, what with Erli escaping the clutches of DHL, arriving from Austria, through Germany, and favorite things, feel a song coming on, for those of a less mature audience you may want to scroll down and turn the speakers off
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
While doing the photo's for this lay out, noticed a couple things, the ss mesh grabs nicely into the fibers, creating a solid fusion point for excellent wick to wick transfer. a problem that can happen with to long of fiber tank wick tails, they can flop and stick against the side of the drip cap. Also inspecting the build and wick after 2 weeks of heavy vaping, was pleased to see nice expanded clean flowing fibers, when the coil needs dry burning I'll be able to rinse out the ramie, and reuse it. Why waste a fully seasoned and broke in wick just the right size.. With coils and wicks this large it's so easy.
Final Edit: Frak, damn that's long

speaking of which:
Vape long and acquire Prosper.!!!
