First RDA Build

Hello all. So I got a mutation x and I'm having a problem. I built a 1.4 ohm coil and wicked it with Japanese cotton but the juice is "popping" and getting in my throat. I've tried different wattage setting 10-20w but still get these hot streams of juice instead of vapor that I've seen in youtube videos. I've built plenty of rta's with no popping but this is my first rda. Any tips/ suggestions

What's your juice mix? High PG tends to pop. a 70%VG or more mix eliminates a lot of the pop.

Damn I'm dumb. I got a batch of 50/50 in today and I'm used to 70/30 mix. I'll try that.

28. Bigcatdaddy was right. My higher vg juice isn't popping as much thanks.
