First day - wow!

My 1100mah eGo CE4 Clearomiser kit arrived this morning so on my lunch break from work I went out to the park and found a quiet, sunny corner and had a go. My 6mg nicotine juice hasn't arrived, so I had a go with the freebie 0% nicotine that came with the kit. I literally can't believe how natural it feels and how much it replaced the need for my lunch break smoke despite the fact there was no nicotine. Can't wait to be able to say I've really given up smoking in favour of vaping!

I can't believe all the awesome info here. I've managed to cure a minor gurgle in my clearomizer, be reassured about the bizzare flashing pattern of my USB charger... I'm such a n00b but I feel like I won't be for long

I think a lot of people would be surprised how little they are addicted to nicotine and how much they're addicted to the act of smoking.

I've always been convinced that the ritual is what I love most about smoking - digging round my bag to find the packet, scrounging round for a lighter, heading outside the office to get some 'fresh' air, taking five minutes away from my screen, the joy of just inhaling and just exhaling. I love the process, which is why I think other nicotine replacement options never really worked for me.

Vaping gives me a new set of rituals and something to get a bit geeky about; I'm sure it's way more appealing me than it ought to be...

I've cut down 'cold turkey' from about 20 taylor made cigarettes a day to about 8 skinny rollies a day in the last year; switching to vaping is the last kick so there's no point in upping my nicotine again at this stage I'm hoping that I stick to about 10ml of 6mg Nic or less a week, but I have no idea how it will really work out at the mo!
