Get TWO USB adapters. I had one break on me within a month but luckily I had a spare. I ordered another new one shortly.

I used the ego twist with a mini vivi nova. It's a good setup, but I burned out a lot of heads......it would be a good idea to learn how to 're wick them,I liked it and even buying replacement heads was cheaper than cigs

I would say 2 as well but not for a backup. I keep one in the house, and one in the car. It SUCKS to think you have plenty of battery left to do your full day of running around only to discover that not only were you wrong, but you also left your charger at home. This also means you need a cigarette lighter to USB car adapter too. Many places carry them. I grabbed mine from Radio Shack.
