I sell a lot of things in my spare time and one of these things happens to be gold. Well, sitting here trying to figure out exactly when to fill a cartimizer had me going, until I noticed my jewlery scale. I have been using it all week with out burning one single cart (out of three).

What I did is weighed a blank. These happen to have been from vaporkings (note: I do not use the white plasic caps so all weights are with the rubber inner cap alone), it weighed 3.4 grams empty (there is some fluctuation here and the end fill is dependent on the beggining weight). After doing this I filled with one gram liquid bringing it up to 4.4 grams. Then I spun it one final time. Managed .1 gram without overfill. After letting it sit I vaped this one down to the first wisp of dry taste then weighed it. At 4.0 gram it whisped.

At this point I knew the fill, 1.1 gram, and I knew the "burn point," 4.0 grams, so it was just a matter of stopping shy. With my pocket scale from time to time I checked the weights. When it hit 4.1 I refilled (still doing this) to 4.5 grams.

THERE IS A DECENT WEIGHT OF FLUID THAT SIMPLY CANNOT BE VAPPED. (0.5 - 0.6 gram).

ALSO, prefilled carts COME WEIGHING 4.1 grams to 4.3 grams..... THESE NEED TOPPED TO 4.5. The prefilled filler also "shrinks and cannot take as full a fill with each use." YOU MUST stop before overfill. An overfilled carto with shrunken filler reacts like a nuclear reactor in meltdown, the overfilled juice does not cool the core and it melts.

I hope others try some test filling with a scale... I think there is much to be learned. I have not done with with 10, or even 100's yet, but it is showing promise.
