FC-2000 Finally Working Great Zero Break In Time

After 2 weeks of messing with the new 7/64 FC-2000 (Non-Slotted) wick, I finally got it working great with zero break in time. The details are below. This is using a FC-2000 without any cheesecloth or any other material, so you get the purest flavor.

Device: Provari
tank: AGA-T2
Voltage: 5.5V
Coil: 2.3Ohm (4/5 Wrap 32 Guage Kanthal)

1. Drill out the wick hole in the AGA-T2 using a 1/8 drill bit (Gives it just enough room on the 7/64 wick to allow good juice flow. This is very difficult. I recommend that you get a different tank with a 1/8 hole already because there is only a paper thin layer of stainless left on the sides of the hole now.
2. Do a hot wrap (Elias Hot Wrap on Youtube)
3. After doing the hot wrap you HAVE to take the positive loop around the post and loop/wrap in a coil the wire back on itself back toward the FC-2000 wick a few times. This stops hotspots from happening between the center positive post and the FC-2000 wick. This was the key to getting it to vape properly. The extra wire coiled back on itself allows the electricity to flow with less resistance therefore it doesn't heat up as much as the rest of the coil around the wick. Therefore your wire around the wick is the only wire heating up, which is ideal.
4. Leave out one of the screws on the AGA-T2 so you have an open hole which will help the pressure in the tank. Without doing this I was getting a burnt kanthal taste.

Without step 3 I was stuck at low voltages, and as soon as I cranked up the voltage I would get a burnt kanthal wire taste. With step 3 I can go all the way up to 5.5V without that burnt kanthal taste whatsoever. With the steps described above my FC-2000 is wicking like a champion and the flavor is great.

I created this account to get this info out so others didn't have to waste their time troubleshooting these wicks. If you have the privs to post to the FC-2000 thread please do, thanks.

This coil is working great, and as you can see my wrap back from the post to the wick is pretty terrible, but it's stopping the hot spots :)
