I have Capella Blueberry Jam single flavor mixed at 8% (husband's current fave juice)

I think I remember you saying you were going to order the CAP Blueberry Jam...when I'd recommended it to someone on here, and/or in the DIY Swaps forum, months ago. It IS a wonderful blueberry flavoring, isn't it? It's my favorite of all the blueberry variations I've tried so far. I got a 13mL sample bottle first, tried it, and then jumped right to the 4oz. size for my next order!

Some blueberry flavors I've ordered have come in, so I'm slowly checking out some recipes here, and ones I've noted in the last year or so, and wanted to mention this one I mixed today, called "Blue Unicorn" by HarrySmooth at ELR:

8.5% Blueberry (CAP)
1.5% Butter Cream (CAP)
0.5% Graham Cracker v1 (CAP)
0.5% New York Cheesecake (CAP)
1.5% Sweet Cream (CAP)
1% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (CAP)
3% Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP)

Somehow it turned out that I have all these flavors now (except my CAP Graham Cracker is v2), so I made up a small sample, and though the mixer said he was giving it a 2-week steep, I'm finding it really good as a shake and vape (with a 50/50 pg/vg base), and will be curious if steeping makes it better, or if the blueberry fades with aging.

Anyway, with only early results in, I'm calling this one a winner. Depending on how it progresses, either I will end up making bigger batches for steeping, or continue with small batches that are just for S&V.

I'll update as I find others that stand out to me particularly!
Tada! My first review since my controversial post "Why Nobody Leaves An Opinion" lol, not really. Anywho, thanks to both tazzle and PapawBret for sharing their recipe's. I mixed your recipe tazzle and no steep time it is a winner to me. I would encourage anyone who wants a Blueberry recipe to mix this one. I will let it steep for days if not a week but I could taste the Blueberry and I believe I liked it most of all cause it has other flavors that seem to compliment each other. More specifically the Custard and the VBIC. I could vape VBIC by itself if not drink it. I do understand the bad stuff in these flavors I like...but heck I like them. I will now write a review on PapawBret's recipe post as well. Quick review is his was fine also but, did not have Blueberry Extra-TFA so had to use Wild Blueberry-TFA at a higher percent.

FA Billberry is a strange one for me. It has a certain musty odor that I really can't stand, but I like its flavor. I can always smell that odor even when using it at small %s, but it seems to dissipate after sitting awhile. I've just mixed your recipe, it'll be sitting a good 2 weeks before I can try it though. Very "malodorous" for me at the moment. :)

So I am guessing that you did not like this mix, is that correct?
Just wondering is all.

Sorry about that. I no longer actively participate on this forum, but I do pop in occasionally to read. Since I saw your alert, I'll make an exception!

I liked the basic recipe, but couldn't get past the FA Billberry. Something in that flavor just doesn't agree with me, mostly related to its musty smell. I think I'm just overly sensitive to it the same way some folks are sensitive to the pepper note(which I don't taste, ironically) in TFA VBIC.

However, one of my friends loves it. I gave her the almost full 30 ml tester, and I've refilled it for her twice. She likes it S&V, and the Billberry doesn't bother her at all, which is good. My 30 mls of FA Billberry won't be going to waste after all!

For myself, I swapped Billberry for FA Blackcurrant, but had to knock it down to 1.5%. I've gone through 30 mls of it, and used up all my Blueberry candy in the process. :) It's an occasional vape for me, as are all things blueberry, but I don't see my friend getting sick of it any time soon, so I'd say you can consider your recipe a success. :)

Thanks for the feed back, I had never heard any negative reviews of the bilberry before this, very interesting. I know I have some FA black currant, and I don't remember ever using it, so I think I will give it a try. :)

Thanks
